Abstract
Systems and methods are provided for extending dialogue between a mobile device and a point-of-interaction (POI). One example computer-implemented method includes receiving, by a by a host server, from a POI computing device, an identifier specific to an account of a user, a receipt for an interaction, and one or more encrypted actions. The method also includes decrypting, by the host server, the one or more encrypted actions and storing the receipt. The method then includes, based on the decrypted one or more actions, notifying, by the host server, the user, via a mobile device of the user, of the receipt and accessibility of the receipt.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A computer-implemented method for use in extending dialogue between a mobile device and a point-of-interaction, the method comprising:
receiving, by a host server, from a point-of-interaction (POI) computing device, an identifier specific to an account of a user, a receipt for an interaction, and one or more encrypted actions; decrypting, by the host server, the one or more encrypted actions; storing the receipt; and based on the decrypted one or more actions, notifying, by the host server, the user, via a mobile device of the user, of the receipt and accessibility of the receipt.
2 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the interaction includes a payment account transaction to the account;
wherein the identifier includes a primary account number (PAN) associated with the account; and wherein the POI computing device includes an electronic cash register (ECR).
3 . The computer-implemented method of claim 2 , further comprising identifying, by the host server, an issuer of the account based on the PAN; and
wherein storing the receipt includes storing the receipt in association with the issuer.
4 . The computer-implemented method of claim 2 , further comprising:
identifying, by the host server, an issuer of the account based on the PAN; and transmitting, by the host server, the receipt to the issuer.
5 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein storing the receipt includes transmitting the receipt to a storage server in communication with the host server, whereby the receipt is stored in the storage server.
6 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein notifying the user, via the mobile device of the user, of the receipt and the accessibility of the receipt includes requesting, by the host server, from a notification server, transmission of a notification to the mobile device of the user, the notification indicating the receipt and the accessibility of the receipt.
7 . A computer-implemented method for use in extending dialogue between a mobile device and a point-of-interaction, the method comprising:
receiving, by a host server, from a point-of-interaction (POI) computing device, an identifier specific to an account of a user, a receipt for an interaction, and one or more encrypted actions; decrypting, by the host server, the one or more encrypted actions; storing the receipt; and based on the decrypted one or more actions, converting, by the host server, the receipt to an HTML format and transmitting, by the host server, the converted receipt to the user.
8 . The computer-implemented method of claim 7 , wherein the interaction includes a payment account transaction to the account;
wherein the identifier includes a primary account number (PAN) associated with the account; and wherein the POI computing device includes an electronic cash register (ECR).
9 . The computer-implemented method of claim 8 , further comprising:
identifying, by the host server, an issuer of the account based on the PAN; and transmitted, by the host server, the receipt to the issuer; and wherein storing the receipt includes storing the receipt in association with the issuer.
10 . The computer-implemented method of claim 7 , wherein storing the receipt includes transmitting the receipt to a storage server in communication with the host server, whereby the receipt is stored in the storage server.
11 . A system for use in extending dialogue between a mobile device and a point-of-interaction, the system comprising:
a host server including a processor and memory, which includes executable instructions, which, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
receive, from a point-of-interaction (POI) computing device, an identifier specific to an account of a user, a receipt for an interaction, and one or more encrypted actions;
decrypt the one or more encrypted actions;
store the receipt; and
based on the decrypted one or more actions, notify the user, via a mobile device of the user, of the receipt and accessibility of the receipt.
12 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the interaction includes a payment account transaction to the account;
wherein the identifier includes a primary account number (PAN) associated with the account; and/or wherein the POI computing device includes an electronic cash register (ECR).
13 . The system of claim 12 wherein the executable instructions, when executed by the processor, further cause the processor to identify an issuer of the account based on the PAN; and
wherein the executable instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to store the receipt in association with the issuer.
14 . The system of claim 12 , wherein the executable instructions, when executed by the processor, further cause the processor to:
identify an issuer of the account based on the PAN; and transmit the receipt to the issuer.
15 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the executable instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor, in order to store the receipt, to transmit the receipt to a storage server in communication with the host server.
16 . The system of claim 15 , further comprising the storage server in communication with the host server; and
wherein the storage server is configured to:
store the receipt in memory; and
provide the accessibility of the receipt to the user.
17 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the executable instructions, when executed by the processor, further cause the processor, in order to notify the user, to request, from a notification server, transmission of a notification to the mobile device of the user, the notification indicating the receipt and the accessibility of the receipt.
18 . The system of claim 17 , further comprising the notification server, which is configured to:
receive the request from the host server; identify the mobile device; and transmit the notification to the mobile device.
19 . The system of claim 11 wherein the executable instructions, when executed by the processor, further cause the processor to, based on the decrypted one or more actions, convert the receipt to an HTML format and transmit the converted receipt to the user.Cited by (0)
