Method and apparatus for controlling uplink transmission power in wireless communication system
Abstract
A method, performed by a terminal, of transmitting and receiving a signal in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes receiving a first reference signal (RS) on a first downlink bandwidth part (BWP) of a first carrier of a serving cell; determining first pathloss information for a transmission of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) based on the first RS received on the first downlink BWP of the first carrier of the serving cell; determining a transmission power for the PUCCH based on the first pathloss information; receiving a second RS on a second downlink BWP of a second carrier of the serving cell; determining second pathloss information for a transmission of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) based on the second RS received on the second downlink BWP of the second carrier of the serving cell; and determining a transmission power for the PUSCH based on the second pathloss information.

10 . A method of controlling a transmission power for a physical uplink channel by a base station in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
transmitting, to a terminal, first information configuring a cell and one or more bandwidth parts (BWPs) of the cell; and transmitting, to the terminal, second information indicating a BWP among the one or more BWPs of the cell, wherein path loss information is identified at the terminal based on a reference signal (RS) transmitted on the indicated BWP of the cell, and wherein the transmission power for the physical uplink channel is identified at the terminal based on the path loss information.
11 . A terminal configured to control a transmission power for a physical uplink channel in a wireless communication system, the terminal comprising:
a transceiver; and at least one processor coupled with the transceiver and configured to:
receive first information configuring a cell and one or more bandwidth parts (BWPs) of the cell,
receive second information indicating a BWP among the one or more BWPs of the cell,
identify path loss information based on a reference signal (RS) received on the indicated BWP of the cell, and
identify the transmission power for the physical uplink channel based on the path loss information.

16 . The terminal of claim 11 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to accumulate a power control adjustment state function for the physical uplink channel based on a previous power control adjustment state function.
17 . The terminal of claim 16 , wherein the power control adjustment state function for the physical uplink channel is related to the indicated BWP of the cell, and
wherein the previous power control adjustment state function is related to the previous BWP of the cell.
18 . The terminal of claim 11 , wherein the reference signal includes a synchronization signal block (SSB) or a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS).
19 . The terminal of claim 11 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to identify the path loss information based on a difference between a reference signal power used by a base station for the reference signal and a reference signal received power (RSRP) measured by the terminal based on the reference signal.
20 . A base station configured to control a transmission power for a physical uplink channel in a wireless communication system, the base station comprising:
