Abstract
A multi-array ultrasound system for haptic engagement is provided. The system may include a computing device with a processing system, a tracking device communicatively coupled to the processing system, two or more ultrasound transducer arrays including a plurality of ultrasound transducers, and a driver communicatively coupled to the processing system and the two or more ultrasound transducer arrays.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A multi-array ultrasound system for haptic engagement, the system comprising:
a computing device with a processing system; a tracking device communicatively coupled to the processing system; wherein the tracking device provides the tracking information to the processing system; two or more ultrasound transducer arrays including a plurality of ultrasound transducers that can produce at least one acoustic field of ultrasonic energy; and a driver communicatively coupled to the processing system and the two or more ultrasound transducer arrays; wherein the driver causes the plurality of ultrasound transducers to create a mid-air tactile sensation on the body part of the at least one user through excitement of the two or more ultrasound transducer arrays in response to feedback from the processing system that is responsive to the tracking information from the tracking device.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
