Abstract
A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion; a seat back; a headrest including a main part configured to support the back of the head of the occupant, a left side part connected to a left edge of the main part to be rotatable about a vertical axis, a right side part connected to a right edge of the main part to be rotatable about a vertical axis, a left drive device for rotating the left side part forward relative to the main part, and a right drive device for rotating the right side part forward relative to the main part; an acceleration acquisition device; and a control device which, when a rightward acceleration is acquired by the acceleration acquisition device, makes the right drive device rotate the right side part forward until the right side part is positioned on a right side of the head of the occupant, and when a leftward acceleration is acquired by the acceleration acquisition device, makes the left drive device rotate the left side part forward until the left side part is positioned on a left side of the head of the occupant.

10 . A vehicle seat configured to be installed in a vehicle, comprising:
a seat cushion; a seat back provided at a rear portion of the seat cushion; a headrest including a main part connected to an upper end of the seat back to support a back of a head of an occupant, a left side part connected to a left edge of the main part to be displaceable, and a right side part connected to a right edge of the main part to be displaceable; an acceleration acquisition device configured to acquire an acceleration applied in a lateral direction; and a control device that controls the positions of the left side part and the right side part respectively, wherein the headrest additionally includes a left drive device to drive the left side part, and a right drive device to drive the right side part, wherein the left drive device is comprised to drive the left side part to be positioned at a left support position to form a left contact surface that opposes the head of the occupant and at a left drive position to be located far from the head of the occupant compared to at the left support position, wherein the right drive device is able to drive the right side part to be positioned at a right support position to form a right contact surface that opposes the head of the occupant and at a right drive position to be located far from the head of the occupant compared to at the right support position, wherein, when a rightward acceleration is acquired by the acceleration acquisition device, the control device makes the right drive device drive the right side part to be at the right support position, wherein, when a leftward acceleration is acquired by the acceleration acquisition device, the control device makes the left drive device drive the left side part to be at the left support position, and wherein the acceleration acquisition device is provided at the main part except for a main contact surface that can be in contact with a rear surface of the head of the occupant.
11 . The vehicle seat according to claim 10 , wherein the right contact surface and the left contact surface are provided with respective light emitting devices,
wherein each of the light emitting devices includes multiple emitting elements arranged horizontally, wherein, when a rightward acceleration is acquired by the acceleration acquisition device, the light emitting device provided at the right contact surface emits light to correspond to optical flow of a view from a right side window, and wherein, when a leftward acceleration is acquired by the acceleration acquisition device, the light emitting device provided at the left contact surface emits light to correspond to optical flow of a view from a left side window.
12 . The vehicle seat according to claim 10 , wherein the acceleration acquisition device is provided in a middle of the main part in the lateral direction.
13 . The vehicle seat according to claim 10 , wherein the control device is provided on a rear surface of the main part.
14 . The vehicle seat according to claim 10 , wherein the acceleration acquisition device and the control device are located at different positions in a vertical direction.
15 . The vehicle seat according to claim 10 , wherein the acceleration acquisition device is of a semiconductor type.
16 . The vehicle seat according to claim 10 , wherein the right side part is connected at a right edge of the main part to be rotatable about an axis extending in a vertical direction,
wherein the left side part is connected at a left edge of the main part to be rotatable about an axis extending in a vertical direction, wherein the right drive device displaces the right side part between the right support position and the right drive position by rotating the right side part relative to the main part, and wherein the left drive device displaces the left side part between the left support position and the left drive position by rotating the left side part relative to the main part.
17 . The vehicle seat according to claim 10 , wherein the seat back is connected to a rear end of the seat cushion at the lower end by a reclining mechanism so as to be pivotable.
18 . A vehicle seat configured to be installed in a vehicle, comprising:
a seat cushion; a seat back provided at a rear portion of the seat cushion; a headrest including a main part connected to an upper end of the seat back to support a back of a head of an occupant, a left side part connected to a left edge of the main part to be displaceable, and a right side part connected to a right edge of the main part to be displaceable; an acceleration acquisition device configured to acquire an acceleration applied in a lateral direction; and a control device that controls the positions of the left side part and the right side part respectively, wherein the headrest additionally includes a left drive device to drive the left side part, and a right drive device to drive the right side part, wherein the left drive device is comprised to drive the left side part to be positioned at a left support position to form a left contact surface that opposes the head of the occupant and at a left drive position to be located far from the head of the occupant compared to at the left support position, wherein the right drive device is able to drive the right side part to be positioned at a right support position to form a right contact surface that opposes the head of the occupant and at a right drive position to be located far from the head of the occupant compared to at the right support position, wherein, when a rightward acceleration is acquired by the acceleration acquisition device, the control device makes the right drive device drive the right side part to be at the right support position, wherein, when a leftward acceleration is acquired by the acceleration acquisition device, the control device makes the left drive device drive the left side part to be at the left support position, and wherein the acceleration acquisition device is provided at a lower surface of the main part.
19 . The vehicle seat according to claim 18 , wherein the right contact surface and the left contact surface are provided with respective light emitting devices,
wherein each of the light emitting devices includes multiple emitting elements arranged horizontally, wherein, when a rightward acceleration is acquired by the acceleration acquisition device, the light emitting device provided at the right contact surface emits light to correspond to optical flow of a view from a right side window, and wherein, when a leftward acceleration is acquired by the acceleration acquisition device, the light emitting device provided at the left contact surface emits light to correspond to optical flow of a view from a left side window.
20 . The vehicle seat according to claim 18 , wherein the acceleration acquisition device is provided in a middle of the main part in the lateral direction.
21 . The vehicle seat according to claim 18 , wherein the control device is provided on a rear surface of the main part.
22 . The vehicle seat according to claim 18 , wherein the acceleration acquisition device and the control device are located at different positions in a vertical direction.
23 . The vehicle seat according to claim 18 , wherein the right side part is connected at a right edge of the main part to be rotatable about an axis extending in a vertical direction,
wherein the left side part is connected at a left edge of the main part to be rotatable about an axis extending in a vertical direction, wherein the right drive device displaces the right side part between the right support position and the right drive position by rotating the right side part relative to the main part, and wherein the left drive device displaces the left side part between the left support position and the left drive position by rotating the left side part relative to the main part.
24 . A vehicle seat configured to be installed in a vehicle, comprising:
a seat cushion; a seat back provided at a rear portion of the seat cushion; a headrest including a main part connected to an upper end of the seat back to support a back of a head of an occupant, a left side part connected to a left edge of the main part to be displaceable, and a right side part connected to a right edge of the main part to be displaceable; an acceleration acquisition device configured to acquire an acceleration applied in a lateral direction; and a control device that controls the positions of the left side part and the right side part respectively, wherein the headrest additionally includes a left drive device to drive the left side part, and a right drive device to drive the right side part, wherein the left drive device is comprised to drive the left side part to be positioned at a left support position to form a left contact surface that opposes the head of the occupant and at a left drive position to be located far from the head of the occupant compared to at the left support position, wherein the right drive device is able to drive the right side part to be positioned at a right support position to form a right contact surface that opposes the head of the occupant and at a right drive position to be located far from the head of the occupant compared to at the right support position, wherein, when a rightward acceleration is acquired by the acceleration acquisition device, the control device makes the right drive device drive the right side part to be at the right support position, wherein, when a leftward acceleration is acquired by the acceleration acquisition device, the control device makes the left drive device drive the left side part to be at the left support position, wherein the headrest is connected to the seat back via two pillars spaced left and right, and wherein the acceleration acquisition device is provided at a prescribed position of the main part between two pillars in a front view.
25 . The vehicle seat according to claim 24 , wherein the right contact surface and the left contact surface are provided with respective light emitting devices,
wherein each of the light emitting devices includes multiple emitting elements arranged horizontally, wherein, when a rightward acceleration is acquired by the acceleration acquisition device, the light emitting device provided at the right contact surface emits light to correspond to optical flow of a view from a right side window, and wherein, when a leftward acceleration is acquired by the acceleration acquisition device, the light emitting device provided at the left contact surface emits light to correspond to optical flow of a view from a left side window.
26 . The vehicle seat according to claim 24 , wherein the acceleration acquisition device is provided in a middle of the main part in the lateral direction.
27 . The vehicle seat according to claim 24 , wherein the control device is provided on a rear surface of the main part.
28 . The vehicle seat according to claim 24 , wherein the acceleration acquisition device and the control device are located at different positions in a vertical direction.
29 . The vehicle seat according to claim 24 , wherein the right side part is connected at a right edge of the main part to be rotatable about an axis extending in a vertical direction,
