Merchant Selection Model for Dynamic Management of Add-Ons for Delivery Service Orders
Abstract
Systems and method for dynamically managing add-on orders within a delivery service application. For example, a computer-implemented method includes obtaining data indicative of a primary order request. The method includes selecting, ranking, and displaying menu items for add-on orders associated with a primary order. The method includes obtaining user data provided by a user through a user interface associated with a delivery service application. The method includes determining, in response to obtaining the user data, that the primary order request is eligible for an add-on order. The method includes determining merchants for the add-on order. The selected merchants can be determined from a plurality of candidate merchants based at least in part on analysis of merchant-specific data relative to the user data indicative of the primary order request. The method includes updating the user interface to display data associated with the one or more selected merchants for the add-on order.
Claims

21 . A computing system comprising:
one or more processors; and one or more non-transitory, computer-readable media storing instructions that are executable by the one or more processors to cause the computing system to perform operations, the operations comprising; obtaining data indicative of a primary order request, wherein the primary order request is eligible for an add-on order offer; determining, one or more selected merchants for the add-on order offer, wherein the one or more selected merchants are determined from a plurality of candidate merchants; updating, based on the one or more selected merchants, a user interface to display an offer window indicative of the add-on order offer, the offer window comprising a plurality of user interface elements; and in response to user input indicating at least one merchant of the one or more selected merchants for the add-on order offer, updating the user interface to display one or more menu items associated with the at least one merchant.
22 . The computing system of claim 21 , wherein the operations further comprise:
based on a cost of fulfilling the add-on order offer, determining a threshold time, wherein the threshold time is indicative of a time within which the primary order request is eligible for the add-on order.
23 . The computing system of claim 22 , wherein the cost of fulfilling the add-on order offer is generated by a machine-learned model.
24 . The computing system of claim 22 , wherein the plurality of user interface elements comprise at least one of:
(i) a timer for displaying the threshold time, (ii) a content item for displaying a promotion or benefit of requesting the add-on order, (iii) a status for displaying status information associated with the primary order request, or (iv) a dynamic banner for displaying the one or more selected merchants.
25 . The computing system of claim 24 , wherein the dynamic banner, in response to user input, displays menu items associated with the one or more selected merchants.
26 . The computing system of claim 24 , wherein the dynamic banner, in response to user input, iteratively displays the one or more selected merchants.
27 . The computing system of claim 21 , wherein the operations further comprise:
obtaining data indicative of an add-on order request, the add-on order request indicative of one or more additional merchants or additional menu items associated with the primary order request.
28 . The computing system of claim 27 , wherein the operations further comprise:
updating the, based on the data indicative of the add-on order request, the user interface to display data associated with the one or more selected merchants for the add-on order.
29 . The computing system of claim 21 , wherein determining one or more selected merchants for the add-on order offer is performed by a machine-learned model.
30 . A method comprising:
obtaining data indicative of a primary order request, wherein the primary order request is eligible for an add-on order offer; determining, one or more selected merchants for the add-on order offer, wherein the one or more selected merchants are determined from a plurality of candidate merchants; updating, based on the one or more selected merchants, a user interface to display an offer window indicative of the add-on order offer, the offer window comprising a plurality of user interface elements; and in response to user input indicating at least one merchant of the one or more selected merchants for the add-on order offer, updating the user interface to display one or more menu items associated with the at least one merchant.
31 . The method of claim 30 , further comprising:
based on a cost of fulfilling the add-on order offer, determining a threshold time, wherein the threshold time is indicative of a time within which the primary order request is eligible for the add-on order.
32 . The method of claim 31 , wherein the cost of fulfilling the add-on order offer is generated by a machine-learned model.
33 . The method of claim 31 , wherein the plurality of user interface elements comprise at least one of:
(i) a timer for displaying the threshold time, (ii) a content item for displaying a promotion or benefit of requesting the add-on order, (iii) a status for displaying status information associated with the primary order request, or (iv) a dynamic banner for displaying the one or more selected merchants.
34 . The method of claim 33 , wherein the dynamic banner, in response to user input, displays menu items associated with the one or more selected merchants.
35 . The method of claim 33 , wherein the dynamic banner, in response to user input, iteratively displays the one or more selected merchants.
36 . The method of claim 30 , further comprising:
obtaining data indicative of an add-on order request, the add-on order request indicative of one or more additional merchants or additional menu items associated with the primary order request.
37 . The method of claim 36 , further comprising:
obtaining data indicative of an add-on order request, the add-on order request indicative of one or more additional merchants or additional menu items associated with the primary order request.
38 . The method of claim 37 , further comprising:
updating the, based on the data indicative of the add-on order request, the user interface to display data associated with the one or more selected merchants for the add-on order.
39 . The method of claim 30 , wherein determining one or more selected merchants for the add-on order offer is performed by a machine-learned model.
40 . One or more non-transitory computer readable media storing instructions that are executable by one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
obtaining data indicative of a primary order request, wherein the primary order request is eligible for an add-on order offer; determining, one or more selected merchants for the add-on order offer, wherein the one or more selected merchants are determined from a plurality of candidate merchants; updating, based on the one or more selected merchants, a user interface to display an offer window indicative of the add-on order offer, the offer window comprising a plurality of user interface elements; and in response to user input indicating at least one merchant of the one or more selected merchants for the add-on order offer, updating the user interface to display one or more menu items associated with the at least one merchant.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
