Abstract

A tank for transporting and spraying a liquid having a plurality of walls forming a receptacle configured to receive the liquid and a pump system supported by at least one of the plurality of walls. The pump system has a liquid end and a power frame with at least a portion of the power frame being disposed in the receptacle. In some implementations, the tank has a reservoir disposed in proximity to one of the plurality of walls. The reservoir provides a working fluid to the portion of the power frame disposed in the receptacle.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A tank body for transporting a liquid and spraying the liquid via a pump, the tank body comprising:
a plurality of walls forming a receptacle configured to receive the liquid; and a reservoir disposed in proximity to one of the plurality of walls and configured to provide a working fluid to the pump.

2 . The tank body of claim 1 , wherein the reservoir is disposed relative to the one of the plurality of walls that heat transfer via conduction occurs between the liquid and the working fluid when the working fluid is disposed in the reservoir.

3 . The tank body of claim 1 , wherein the reservoir is disposed in the receptacle.

4 . The tank body of claim 1 , wherein the reservoir is disposed outside the receptacle.

5 . The tank body of claim 1 , wherein an inlet to the reservoir is aligned so that flow into the reservoir is directed towards the one of the plurality of walls.

6 . The tank body of claim 1 , wherein the one of the plurality of walls also forms a wall of the reservoir.

7 . The tank body of claim 1 , wherein the reservoir is disposed on a front head of the tank body.

8 . The tank body of claim 1 , further comprising an inlet line and a return line, and wherein the inlet line and the return line are configured to provide a flow path for the working fluid to pass between the reservoir and inside the receptacle.

9 . The tank body of claim 8 , wherein the inlet line and the return line pass through the at least one of the plurality of walls at a location of the reservoir.

10 . A tank body for transporting a liquid and spraying the liquid via a pump, the tank body comprising:
a plurality of walls forming a receptacle configured to receive the liquid; and a reservoir in contact with one of the plurality of walls and configured to provide a working fluid to the pump.

11 . The tank body of claim 10 , wherein the reservoir is disposed relative to the one of the plurality of walls that heat transfer via conduction occurs between the liquid and the working fluid when the working fluid is disposed in the reservoir.

12 . The tank body of claim 11 , wherein a gap exists between the reservoir and the one of the plurality of walls.

13 . The tank body of claim 12 , further comprising a paste or other conductive material, and wherein the paste or other conductive material is disposed in the gap.

14 . The tank body of claim 10 , wherein the reservoir is disposed outside the receptacle.

15 . The tank body of claim 10 , wherein the one of the plurality of walls also forms a wall of the reservoir.

16 . The tank body of claim 10 , wherein the working fluid is a hydraulic fluid or a food grade oil.

17 . The tank body of claim 10 , further comprising a pump system.

18 . The tank body of claim 17 , wherein the pump system is supported by at least one of the plurality of walls.

19 . The tank body of claim 17 , wherein the pump system comprises a liquid end and a power frame, at least a portion of the power frame being disposed in the receptacle.

20 . A tank body for transporting a liquid and spraying the liquid via a pump, the tank body comprising:
a plurality of walls forming a receptacle configured to receive the liquid; and a reservoir configured to provide a working fluid to the pump, the reservoir being disposed relative to the plurality of walls so that heat transfer via conduction occurs between the liquid in the receptacle and the working fluid in the reservoir.
