Abstract

The disclosure relates to a fiber material for producing a container, wherein the fiber material comprises fiber structures for ensuring a predetermined barrier property of a container produced from the fiber material. The disclosure further relates to a method for producing a container using the fiber material. In addition, the disclosure relates to a container comprising the fiber material.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A fiber material for producing a container, wherein the fiber material comprises fiber structures for ensuring a predetermined barrier property of a container produced from the fiber material.

2 . The fiber material according to claim 1 , wherein the fiber structures comprise viscose fibers.

3 . The fiber material according to claim 2 , wherein the viscose fibers comprise a trilobal form or a double trilobal structure.

4 . The fiber material according to claim 1 , wherein the fiber structures comprise a dopant, wherein, the dopant comprises at least one of siloxanes, alkanoates, oleates, silanes, or SiOx, wherein, a first dopant causes the fiber structures to have a hydrophobic property, wherein, a second dopant results in adsorption of oxygen by the fiber structures.

5 . The fiber material according to claim 1 , wherein the fiber structures comprise a planar structure.

6 . The fiber material according to claim 1 , wherein the fiber structures comprise a hollow structure.

7 . The fiber material according to claim 1 , wherein the fiber structures comprise a corrugated or rough outer surface.

8 . The fiber material according to claim 4 , wherein the dopant is provided on an outer surface of the fiber structures and/or wherein the dopant is provided on an inner surface of the fiber structures and/or wherein the dopant penetrates the fiber structures.

9 . A method for producing a container using the fiber material according to claim 1 .

10 . The method according to claim 9 , comprising:
producing the container and a lid for the container from the fiber material, or producing the container from the fiber material and producing the lid for the container from a material comprising fibers, wherein the material does not comprise any of the fiber structures, or producing the container from a material comprising fibers, wherein the material does not comprise any of the fiber structures, and producing the lid for the container from the fiber material, or producing the container, wherein a base of the container comprises the fiber material, and wherein the remainder of the container comprises a material comprising fibers, wherein the material does not comprise any of the fiber structures, or producing the container, wherein a shoulder region and/or threaded region of the container comprises the fiber material, and wherein the remainder of the container comprises a material comprising fibers, wherein the material does not comprise any of the fiber structures.

11 . The method according to claim 9 , further comprising:
applying a layer of the fiber material to at least a part of an outer and/or at least a part of an inner surface of a container which comprises a material comprising fibers, wherein the material does not comprise any of the fiber structures.

12 . The method according to claim 9 , further comprising:
applying a layer of the fiber material to at least a part of an inner surface of a lid of the container.

13 . The method according to claim 9 , further comprising:
producing an upper part of a lid of the container from the fiber material, and producing a side part of the lid with threading from a material comprising fibers, wherein the material does not comprise any of the fiber structures.

14 . A container comprising the fiber material according to claim 1 .
