Garment system with interchangeable sections

Abstract

An interchangeable garment system includes an upper body kit forming a shirt body that removably connects to a middle torso section, a plurality of long sleeve sections and a plurality of short sleeve sections to form up to eight custom shirt garments. The system includes a lower body kit forming a trouser body that removably connects to a plurality of long pant sections and a plurality of short pant sections to form up to four custom shorts or long pant garments. The system also includes a tubular lower body kit forming a skirt body that removably connects to a lower leg section to form up to two custom skirt garments. The upper body kit is selectively connected to either lower body kit to create a plurality of jumpsuit and dress garments.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An interchangeable garment system, comprising:
 an upper body kit having an upper front panel, an upper back panel, and a plurality of upper body garment sections that are removably connected to each of the upper front panel and the upper back panel;   a lower body kit having a lower front panel, a lower back panel, and a plurality of lower body garment sections that are removably connected to each of the lower front panel and the lower back panel;   wherein the upper body kit is configured to be worn along an upper body portion of a user, and the lower body kit is configured to be worn about a lower body portion of a user.   
     
     
         2 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the upper front panel and the upper back panel form a tubular-shaped shirt body having a neck opening, a bottom opening, a left arm opening and a right arm opening. 
     
     
         3 . The system of  claim 2 , wherein the plurality of upper body garment sections include a left side short sleeve section that is configured to removably engage the left arm opening. 
     
     
         4 . The system of  claim 2 , wherein the plurality of upper body garment sections include a right side short sleeve section that is configured to removably engage the left arm opening. 
     
     
         5 . The system of  claim 2 , wherein the plurality of upper body garment sections include a left side long sleeve section that is configured to removably engage the left arm opening. 
     
     
         6 . The system of  claim 2 , wherein the plurality of upper body garment sections include a right side long sleeve section that is configured to removably engage the left arm opening. 
     
     
         7 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the lower front panel and the lower back panel form a tubular-shaped trouser body having a waist opening, a left leg opening and a right leg opening. 
     
     
         8 . The system of  claim 7 , wherein the plurality of lower body garment sections includes a left side short pant section that is configured to removably engage the left leg opening. 
     
     
         9 . The system of  claim 7 , wherein the plurality of lower body garment sections includes a right side short pant section that is configured to removably engage the right leg opening. 
     
     
         10 . The system of  claim 7 , wherein the plurality of lower body garment sections includes a left side long pant section that is configured to removably engage the left leg opening. 
     
     
         11 . The system of  claim 7 , wherein the plurality of lower body garment sections includes a right side long pant section that is configured to removably engage the right leg opening. 
     
     
         12 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the lower front panel and the lower back panel form a tubular-shaped skirt body having a waist opening, and a leg opening. 
     
     
         13 . The system of  claim 12 , wherein the plurality of lower body garment sections includes a tubular shaped lower leg section that is configured to removably engage the leg opening of the lower front panel and the lower back panel to create a long skirt.
