Abstract

A respiratory training device, comprising a hollow body section including a first end and a second end opposite to the first end wherein the second end may include an exhale opening and an inhale opening; a hollow mouthpiece coupled to the first end of the hollow body section; an exhale section coupled to the exhale opening wherein the exhale section may include a first pop valve adapted to allow air exhaled into the hollow body section to flow out of the exhale section; an inhale section coupled to the inhale opening wherein the inhale section may include a second pop valve adapted to allow air to flow in through the inhale section and into the hollow body section; wherein the exhale section may further include an exhale knob for adjusting the airflow out of the exhale section; and wherein the inhale section may further include an inhale knob for adjusting the airflow into the hollow body section.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A respiratory training device, comprising:
 a hollow body section including a first end and a second end opposite to the first end wherein the second end may include an exhale opening and an inhale opening;   a hollow mouthpiece coupled to the first end of the hollow body section;   an exhale section coupled to the exhale opening wherein the exhale section may include a first pop valve adapted to allow air exhaled into the hollow body section to flow out of the exhale section;   an inhale section coupled to the inhale opening wherein the inhale section may include a second pop valve adapted to allow air to flow in through the inhale section and into the hollow body section;   wherein the exhale section may further include an exhale knob for adjusting the airflow out of the exhale section; and   wherein the inhale section may further include an inhale knob for adjusting the airflow into the hollow body section.   
     
     
         2 . The respiratory training device of  claim 1 , wherein the exhale section further comprises an exhale plate coupled to the exhale knob and coupled to the hollow body section, the exhale plate including openings of increasing diameters corresponding to different exhale resistance levels. 
     
     
         3 . The respiratory training device of  claim 2 , wherein the exhale knob includes raised indicators corresponding to different exhale resistance levels. 
     
     
         4 . The respiratory training device of  claim 3 , wherein the exhale section includes six different exhale resistance levels. 
     
     
         5 . The respiratory training device of  claim 2 , wherein the exhale knob includes grooves configured to provide additional grip while adjusting between different exhale resistance levels. 
     
     
         6 . The respiratory training device of  claim 1 , wherein the inhale section further comprises an inhale plate coupled to the inhale knob and coupled to the hollow body section, the inhale plate including openings of increasing diameters corresponding to different inhale resistance levels. 
     
     
         7 . The respiratory training device of  claim 2 , wherein the inhale knob includes raised indicators corresponding to different inhale resistance levels. 
     
     
         8 . The respiratory training device of  claim 3 , wherein the inhale section includes six different inhale resistance levels. 
     
     
         9 . The respiratory training device of  claim 2 , wherein the inhale knob includes grooves configured to provide additional grip while adjusting between different inhale resistance levels. 
     
     
         10 . The respiratory training device of  claim 1 , wherein the mouthpiece is detachable from the hollow body section. 
     
     
         11 . The respiratory training device of  claim 1 , wherein the exhale knob and the inhale knob are composed of food-grade PET plastic. 
     
     
         12 . A respiratory training device comprising:
 a hollow body section;   a means for a user to inhale and exhale through the respiratory training device;   a means for allowing air to flow out of the respiratory training device;   a means for allowing air to flow into the respiratory training device;   a means for adjusting the amount of airflow out of the respiratory training device; and   a means for adjusting the amount of airflow into the respiratory training device.   
     
     
         13 . A respiratory training device comprising:
 a hollow body section including a first end and a second end opposite to the first end wherein the second end may include an exhale opening and an inhale opening;   a detachable, hollow mouthpiece coupled to the first end of the hollow body section;   an exhale section coupled to the exhale opening wherein the exhale section may include a first pop valve adapted to allow air exhaled into the hollow body section to flow out of the exhale section;   an inhale section coupled to the inhale opening wherein the inhale section may include a second pop valve adapted to allow air to flow in through the inhale section and into the hollow body section;   wherein the exhale section may further include an exhale knob and an exhale plate for adjusting the airflow out of the exhale section; and   wherein the inhale section may further include an inhale knob and an inhale plate for adjusting the airflow into the hollow body section.
