Abstract

An apparatus for adjusting a haunch height includes a support angle, a rod or bar, a coupler, and a bolt. The support angle includes a horizontal portion and a vertical portion, and the vertical portion includes a plurality of holes spaced apart from each other. At least one end of the rod or bar is threaded. The coupler includes an internal threading. The bolt is configured to extend through one of the plurality of holes in the support angle and into a portion of the coupler.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . An apparatus for adjusting a haunch height, the apparatus comprising:
a support angle, the support angle comprising a horizontal portion and a vertical portion, wherein the vertical portion includes a plurality of holes spaced apart from each other; a rod or bar, wherein at least ends of the rod or bar are threaded; a coupler, wherein the coupler includes an internal threading; and a bolt, wherein the bolt is configured to extend through one of the plurality of holes in the support angle and into a portion of the coupler.

2 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of holes are spaced apart vertically.

3 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the plurality of holes are arranged in a plurality of columns.

4 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of holes are arranged diagonally.

5 . The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising another support angle, another coupler, and another bolt.

6 . The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising a clip angle, another coupler, and another bolt.

7 . The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising a deck form coupled to or positioned on a portion of the horizontal portion of the support angle.

8 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the height of the support angle is adjustable by repositioning the bolt in another hole of the plurality of holes in the support angle.

9 . The apparatus of claim 8 , wherein the height of the support angle is adjustable without a vertical rod.

10 . A system for adjusting a haunch height, the system comprising:
a support angle, the support angle comprising a horizontal portion and a vertical portion, wherein the vertical portion includes a plurality of holes spaced apart and positioned at different heights on the vertical portion, and wherein the horizontal portion is configured to support a deck form; a rod or bar, wherein at least ends of the rod or bar are threaded; a coupler, wherein the coupler includes an internal threading; and a bolt, wherein the bolt is configured to extend through one of the plurality of holes in the support angle and into a portion of the coupler to adjust a height of the horizontal portion of the support angle and the deck form.

11 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the support angle is a first support angle, and wherein the system further comprises a second support angle coupled to another coupler via another bolt, wherein the other coupler is coupled to another end of the rod or bar, and wherein the heights of the horizontal portions of the first and second support angles are variable based on the position of the rod or bar relative to the vertical portions of the first and second support angles.

12 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the plurality of holes are arranged in a plurality of columns on the vertical portion of the support angle.

13 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the plurality of holes are arranged diagonally on the vertical portion of the support angle.

14 . The system of claim 13 , wherein the height of the support angle is adjustable by repositioning the bolt in another hole of the plurality of holes in the support angle.

15 . The system of claim 14 , wherein the height of the support angle is adjustable without a vertical rod.

16 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the system further comprises a clip angle, wherein the clip angle is coupled to another coupler via another bolt, wherein the other coupler is coupled to another end of the rod or bar.

17 . A system for adjusting a haunch height, the system comprising:
a support angle, the support angle comprising a horizontal portion and a vertical portion, wherein the vertical portion includes a plurality of holes spaced apart and arranged diagonally different heights on the vertical portion, and wherein the horizontal portion is configured to support a deck form; a rod or bar, wherein at least ends of the rod or bar are threaded; a coupler, wherein the coupler includes an internal threading; and a bolt, wherein the bolt is configured to extend through one of the plurality of holes in the support angle and into a portion of the coupler to adjust a height of the horizontal portion of the support angle and the deck form.

18 . The system of claim 17 , wherein the plurality of holes includes four or more holes arranged diagonally on the vertical portion.

19 . The system of claim 18 , wherein the plurality of holes includes twelve or more holes arranged diagonally on the vertical portion.

20 . The system of claim 17 , wherein the support angle is a first support angle, and wherein the system further comprises a second support angle coupled to another coupler via another bolt,
wherein the other coupler is coupled to another end of the rod or bar, and wherein the second support angle includes a horizontal portion and a vertical portion, wherein the vertical portion includes a plurality of holes spaced apart and arranged diagonally different heights on the vertical portion, wherein the horizontal portion is configured to support a deck form, and wherein the heights of the horizontal portions of the first and second support angles are variable based on the position of the rod or bar relative to the vertical portions of the first and second support angles.
