Abstract

The present invention relates to a steel material containing: 0.19 mass %≤C≤0.31 mass %; 0.010 mass %≤V≤0.180 mass %; Mn≤1.50 mass %; 5.60 mass %≤Cr≤6.60 mass %; Cu+Ni≤0.84 mass %; 0.60 mass %≤Si≤1.40 mass %; 0.60 mass %≤Mo≤2.00 mass %; 0.001 mass %≤Al≤0.080 mass %; and 0.003 mass %≤N≤0.040 mass %, with a balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities, in which the contents of Mn and Cr satisfy Mn/Cr>0.150.

1 . A steel material comprising:
 0.19 mass %≤C≤0.31 mass %;   0.010 mass %≤V≤0.180 mass %;   Mn≤1.50 mass %;   5.60 mass %≤Cr≤6.60 mass %;   Cu+Ni≤0.84 mass %;   0.40 mass %≤Si≤1.40 mass %;   0.60 mass %≤Mo≤2.00 mass %;   0.001 mass %≤Al≤0.080 mass %; and   0.003 mass %≤N≤0.040 mass %,   with a balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities, wherein the contents of Mn and Cr satisfy Mn/Cr>0.150.   
     
     
         2 . The steel material according to  claim 1 , further comprising one group or two groups or more selected from the following Groups A to G:
 Group A: one kind or two kinds selected from:
 0.30 mass %<W≤2.00 mass %; and 
 0.30 mass %<Co≤1.00 mass %, 
   Group B:
 0.0002 mass %<B≤0.0080 mass %, 
   Group C: one kind or two kinds or more selected from:
 0.006 mass %<S≤0.180 mass %; 
 0.0005 mass %<Ca≤0.0500 mass %; 
 0.03 mass %<Se≤0.50 mass %; 
 0.005 mass %<Te≤0.100 mass %; 
 0.01 mass %<Bi≤0.50 mass %; and 
 0.03 mass %<Pb≤0.50 mass %, and 
   Group D: one kind or two kinds or more selected from:
 0.004 mass %<Nb≤0.100 mass %; 
 0.004 mass %<Ta≤0.100 mass %; 
 0.004 mass %<Ti≤0.100 mass %; and 
 0.004 mass %<Zr≤0.100 mass %. 
   
     
     
         3 . The steel material according to  claim 1 ,
 having a mass of 3000 kg or more, and   having a minimum dimension (L min ) of 300 mm or more among a longitudinal dimension (L 1 ), a lateral dimension (L 2 ), and a height dimension (L 3 ).   
     
     
         4 . The steel material according to  claim 1 , having a hardness of 35 HRC or more and 45 HRC or less at a center portion. 
     
     
         5 . The steel material according to  claim 1 , having an absolute value of a difference between a hardness at a center portion and a hardness at an outer periphery being 3.5 HRC or less. 
     
     
         6 . The steel material according to  claim 1 , having an average impact value of 25 [J/cm 2 ] or more. 
     
     
         7 . The steel material according to  claim 1 , having a low-impact value ratio of 30% or less. 
     
     
         8 . A mold,
 produced from the steel material described in  claim 1 , and   having a mass of 2000 kg or more.
