Abstract

A dipping sauce container assembly includes a container for containing a dipping sauce. The container has pour spout for pouring the dipping sauce from the container. The container has dimensions sufficient to contain a chicken wing to facilitate the chicken wing to be fully submerged in the dipping sauce. A lid is provided and the lid is hingedly attached to the container. The lid is positionable in a closed position for closing the container and the lid is positionable in an open position for opening the container. Additionally, the lid has a lobed portion to accommodate the pour spout on the container when the lid is closed.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
I claim:

1 . A dipping sauce container assembly for facilitating a chicken wing to be fully submerged in dipping sauce, said assembly comprising:
a container for containing a dipping sauce, said container having pour spout for pouring said dipping sauce from said container, said container having dimensions being sufficient to contain a chicken wing wherein said container is configured to facilitate the chicken wing to be fully submerged in said dipping sauce; and a lid being hingedly attached to said container, said lid being positionable in a closed position for closing said container, said lid being positionable in an open position for opening said container, said lid having a lobed portion to accommodate said pour spout on said container when said lid is closed.

2 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein:
said container has a bottom wall and an outer wall extending upwardly from said bottom wall, said outer wall having a distal edge with respect to said bottom wall defining an opening into said container, said outer wall curling outwardly adjacent to said distal edge to define a lip extending around a full perimeter of said outer wall; and said outer wall has a front side, said outer wall having a rounded portion curving outwardly from said front side to define said pour spout, said rounded portion extending from lip associated with said front side toward said bottom wall, said rounded portion being centrally positioned along said front side.

3 . The assembly according to claim 2 , wherein said lid has a top wall and a perimeter wall extending downwardly from said top wall, lobed portion curving outwardly from a forward edge of said top wall having said perimeter wall curving around said lobed portion, said lobed portion being centrally positioned along said forward edge, said lobed portion being aligned with said pour spout, said perimeter wall extending downwardly along said lip on said outer wall of said container when said lid is closed.

4 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein:
said lid has a perimeter wall, said perimeter wall having a first lateral side; said container has an outer wall, said outer wall having a first lateral side, said outer wall having a lip; and said assembly includes a hinge being coupled between said lip on a first lateral side of said outer wall of said container and said first lateral side of said perimeter wall of said lid thereby facilitating said lid to hinge on said container.

5 . A dipping sauce container assembly for facilitating a chicken wing to be fully submerged in dipping sauce, said assembly comprising:
a container for containing a dipping sauce, said container having pour spout for pouring said dipping sauce from said container, said container having dimensions being sufficient to contain a chicken wing wherein said container is configured to facilitate the chicken wing to be fully submerged in said dipping sauce, said container having a bottom wall and an outer wall extending upwardly from said bottom wall, said outer wall having a distal edge with respect to said bottom wall defining an opening into said container, said outer wall curling outwardly adjacent to said distal edge to define a lip extending around a full perimeter of said outer wall, said outer wall having a front side, said outer wall having a rounded portion curving outwardly from said front side to define said pour spout, said rounded portion extending from lip associated with said front side toward said bottom wall, said rounded portion being centrally positioned along said front side; a lid being hingedly attached to said container, said lid being positionable in a closed position for closing said container, said lid being positionable in an open position for opening said container, said lid having a lobed portion to accommodate said pour spout on said container when said lid is closed, said lid having a top wall and a perimeter wall extending downwardly from said top wall, lobed portion curving outwardly from a forward edge of said top wall having said perimeter wall curving around said lobed portion, said lobed portion being centrally positioned along said forward edge, said perimeter wall having a first lateral side, said lobed portion being aligned with said pour spout, said perimeter wall extending downwardly along said lip on said outer wall of said container when said lid is closed; and a hinge being coupled between said lip on a first lateral side of said outer wall of said container and said first lateral side of said perimeter wall of said lid thereby facilitating said lid to hinge on said container.

6 . A method of completely covering a chicken wing with dipping sauce, the steps of the method comprising:
providing a container having dimensions sufficient to contain a chicken wing, said container having a pour spout being integrated into said container; providing dipping sauce being contained in said container; dipping a chicken wing into said container thereby facilitating the chicken wing to be completely submerged in said dipping sauce; and pouring said dipping sauce from said pour spout in said container onto the chicken wing.
