Abstract

The invention relates to a method for operating a tubular-bag machine (01) having a film web (03) unwindable from a supply roll (02), a forming shoulder (04) for forming the film web (03) to a film tube (05), a film take-off unit (07) acting against the film tube (05) and serving to keep the film tube (05) moving, a longitudinal-sealing apparatus for sealing the film tube (05) along a longitudinal seam, a transverse-sealing apparatus (08) having transverse jaws (09) which move towards each other, transversally seal the film tube (05) and serve to produce transverse seams, a separator (11) for separating completed tubular bags (10) from the film tube (05), a metering module (13) for metering the filling material (12) being disposed upstream of the tubular-bag machine (01) and/or a processing module (14) for further processing the tubular bag being disposed downstream of the tubular-bag machine (01), and error messages of the tubular-bag machine (01) and/or the metering module (13) and/or the processing module (14) being able to be processed in the control (15) of the tubular-bag machine (01). The processing speed of the tubular-bag machine (01) is changed as a function of the error messages of the tubular-bag machine (01) and/or of the metering module (13) and/or of the processing module (14) received in the control (15) of the tubular-bag machine (01).

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A method for operating a tubular-bag machine ( 01 ) having a film web ( 03 ) unwindable from a supply roll ( 02 ), a forming shoulder ( 04 ) for forming the film web ( 03 ) to a film tube ( 05 ), a film take-off unit ( 07 ) acting against the film tube ( 05 ) and serving to keep the film tube ( 05 ) moving, a longitudinal-sealing apparatus for sealing the film tube ( 05 ) along a longitudinal seam, a transverse-sealing apparatus ( 08 ) having transverse jaws ( 09 ) which move towards each other, transversally seal the film tube ( 05 ) and serve to produce transverse seams, a separator ( 11 ) for separating completed tubular bags ( 10 ) from the film tube ( 05 ), a metering module ( 13 ) for metering the filling material ( 12 ) being disposed upstream of the tubular-bag machine ( 01 ) and/or a processing module ( 14 ) for further processing the tubular bags being disposed downstream of the tubular-bag machine ( 01 ), and error messages of the tubular-bag machine ( 01 ) and/or the metering module ( 13 ) and/or the processing module ( 14 ) being able to be processed in the control ( 15 ) of the tubular-bag machine ( 01 ),
 characterized in that the processing speed of the tubular-bag machine ( 01 ) is changed as a function of the error messages of the tubular-bag machine ( 01 ) and/or of the metering module ( 13 ) and/or of the processing module ( 14 ) received in the control ( 15 ) of the tubular-bag machine ( 01 ).

         2 . The method according to claim 1 ,
characterized in that the processing speed of the tubular-bag machine ( 01 ) is reduced by a predetermined number of cycles of change after receiving an error message.

         3 . The method according to claim 1 ,
characterized in that the different error messages are each assigned to a specific number of cycles of change.

         4 . The method according to claim 1 ,
characterized in that the processing speed of the tubular-bag machine ( 01 ) is increased to the original level after a predetermined observation time or a predetermined number of cycles for observation has ended.

         5 . The method according to claim 1 ,
characterized in that the error message signals the inclusion of filling material ( 12 ) in the sealing zone formed between the transverse jaws ( 09 ).

         6 . The method according to claim 1 ,
characterized in that the error message signals not meeting the sealing temperature in the sealing zone formed between the transverse jaws ( 09 ).

         7 . The method according to claim 1 ,
characterized in that the control of the tubular-bag machine ( 01 ) receives the error message from a weighing apparatus having at least one set of scales and being disposed upstream of the tubular-bag machine ( 01 ) for metering.

         8 . The method according to claim 7 ,
characterized in that the error signal signals an insufficient metering amount of the filling material in the upstream weighing apparatus.

         9 . The method according to claim 7 ,
characterized in that the error message signals an overfilling with filling material in at least one set of scales of the upstream weighing apparatus.

         10 . The method according to claim 1 ,
characterized in that the control of the tubular-bag machine ( 01 ) receives the error message from a repackaging apparatus disposed downstream of the tubular-bag machine ( 01 ) for repackaging.

         11 . The method according to claim 10 ,
