Abstract

A water reclamation assembly includes a bathtub that has a drain for draining water from the bathtub. A toilet is included and the toilet is in fluid communication with a sewer system. A water reclamation unit is fluidly coupled between the drain of the bathtub and the sewer system. The water reclamation unit includes a reservoir which has a pre-determined fluid capacity for storing a pre-determined volume of water. The reservoir is in fluid communication with the fluid tank of the toilet such that the fluid tank of the toilet can be filled with water stored in the reservoir. The water reclamation unit is in fluid communication with the sewer system. Furthermore, the water reclamation unit is actuated into a draining condition when the reservoir is filled to the pre-determined capacity to drain the water into the sewer system.

1 . A water reclamation assembly comprising:
 a bathtub having a drain wherein said drain is configured to drain water from said bathtub;   a toilet having a fluid tank, said toilet being in fluid communication with a sewer system;   a water reclamation unit being fluidly coupled between said drain of said bathtub and said sewer system, said water reclamation unit including a reservoir having a pre-determined fluid capacity wherein said reservoir is configured to store a pre-determined volume of water, said reservoir being in fluid communication with said fluid tank of said toilet wherein said fluid tank of said toilet is configured to be filled with water stored in said reservoir, said water reclamation unit being in fluid communication with said sewer system, said water reclamation unit being actuated into a draining condition when said reservoir is filled to said pre-determined capacity wherein said water reclamation unit is configured to drain the water into said sewer system;   said reservoir having an outer wall, said reservoir having an output being integrated into said outer wall; and   wherein said water reclamation unit includes
 a first conduit having a first end being fluidly coupled to said drain in said bathtub wherein said first conduit is configured to receive the water draining through said drain; 
 a second conduit being fluidly coupled an outlet of said water filter; 
 a third conduit having a first end being fluidly coupled to said output on said outer wall of said reservoir wherein said third conduit is configured to receive the water in said reservoir; 
 a water filter having an inlet, an outlet and an overflow, a second end of said first conduit being fluidly coupled to said inlet wherein said water filter is configured to receive the water from said drain, said water filter including a filtering element being in fluid communication between said inlet and said outlet wherein said filtering element is configured to filter particles from the water passing into said inlet, said overflow being fluidly coupled to said sewer, and 
 a pump configured for pumping fluid directly from said reservoir to said fluid tank, said pump having a pumping inlet and a pumping outlet, a second end of said third conduit being fluidly coupled to said pumping inlet wherein said pump is configured to receive the water from said reservoir through said third conduit, said pump having a direction of flow moving from said pumping inlet to said pumping outlet when said pump is turned on.

         3 . The assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 said water filter is normally actuated into a filling condition having a direction of flow moving from said inlet to said outlet; and   said water filter is actuatable into an overflow condition having a direction of flow moving from said inlet to said overflow.

The assembly according to  claim 3 , wherein said reservoir has a top end, a bottom end and an outer wall extending between said top end and said bottom end, said reservoir having an input being fluidly integrated into said outer wall, said input being positioned closer to said top end than said bottom end, said reservoir having an output being fluidly integrated into said outer wall, said output being positioned closer to said bottom end than said top end, a second end of said second conduit being fluidly coupled to said input wherein said reservoir is configured to be filled with the water when said filter is in actuated into said filling condition.

The assembly according to  claim 4 , wherein said water filter is actuated into said overflow condition when said reservoir is filled to said pre-determined capacity wherein said overflow is configured to discharge the water into said sewer system rather than directing the water into said reservoir.

The assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein said water reclamation unit includes a fourth conduit having a first end being fluidly coupled to said pumping outlet of said pump wherein said fourth conduit is configured to receive the water when said pump is turned on, a second end of said fourth conduit being fluidly coupled to said fluid tank of said toilet wherein said fluid tank of said toilet is configured to receive the water from said fourth conduit when said pump is turned on. 
     
     
         8 . A water reclamation assembly comprising:
 a bathtub having a drain wherein said drain is configured to drain water from said bathtub, said drain being integrated into a bottom wall of said bathtub;   a toilet having a fluid tank, said toilet being in fluid communication with a sewer system; and   a water reclamation unit being fluidly coupled between said drain of said bathtub and said sewer system, said water reclamation unit including a reservoir having a pre-determined fluid capacity wherein said reservoir is configured to store a pre-determined volume of water, said reservoir being in fluid communication with said fluid tank of said toilet wherein said fluid tank of said toilet is configured to be filled with water stored in said reservoir, said water reclamation unit being in fluid communication with said sewer system, said water reclamation unit being actuated into a draining condition when said reservoir is filled to said pre-determined capacity wherein said water reclamation unit is configured to drain the water into said sewer system, said water reclamation unit comprising:
 a first conduit having a first end being fluidly coupled to said drain in said bathtub wherein said first conduit is configured to receive the water draining through said drain; 
 a water filter having an inlet, an outlet and an overflow, a second end of said first conduit being fluidly coupled to said inlet wherein said water filter is configured to receive the water from said drain, said water filter including a filtering element being in fluid communication between said inlet and said outlet wherein said filtering element is configured to filter particles from the water passing into said inlet, said overflow being fluidly coupled to said sewer, said water filter being normally actuated into a filling condition having a direction of flow moving from said inlet to said outlet, said water filter being actuatable into an overflow condition having a direction of flow moving from said inlet to said overflow; 
 a second conduit having a first end being fluidly coupled to said outlet of said water filter wherein said second conduit is configured to receive the filtered water from said water filter; 
 wherein said reservoir has a top end, a bottom end and an outer wall extending between said top end and said bottom end, said reservoir having an input being fluidly integrated into said outer wall, said input being positioned closer to said top end than said bottom end, said reservoir having an output being fluidly integrated into said outer wall, said output being positioned closer to said bottom end than said top end, a second end of said second conduit being fluidly coupled to said input wherein said reservoir is configured to be filled with the water when said filter is in actuated into said filling condition, said water filter being actuated into said overflow condition when said reservoir is filled to said pre-determined capacity wherein said overflow is configured to discharge the water into said sewer system rather than directing the water into said reservoir; 
 a third conduit having a first end being fluidly coupled to said output on said outer wall of said reservoir wherein said third conduit is configured to receive the water in said reservoir; 
 a pump configured for pumping fluid directly from said reservoir to said fluid tank, said pump having a pumping inlet and a pumping outlet, a second end of said third conduit being fluidly coupled to said pumping inlet wherein said pump is configured to receive the water from said third conduit, said pump having a direction of flow moving from said pumping inlet to said pumping outlet when said pump is turned on; and 
 a fourth conduit having a first end being fluidly coupled to said pumping outlet of said pump wherein said fourth conduit is configured to receive the water when said pump is turned on, a second end of said fourth conduit being fluidly coupled to said fluid tank of said toilet wherein said fluid tank of said toilet is configured to receive the water from said fourth conduit when said pump is turned on.
