Abstract
A stair railing includes at least two vertical posts, at least one horizontal rail and a movable connecting mechanism. The horizontal rail is connected to the vertical post through the movable connecting mechanism, so that the horizontal rail is rotatable in relation to the vertical post. Wherein the movable connecting mechanism includes an insertion part with at least a portion of the insertion part being arc-shaped, and a receiving part that has a receiving space compatible with the insertion part.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A stair railing, comprising:
at least two vertical posts; at least one horizontal rail connected to the vertical post through a movable connecting mechanism, so that the horizontal rail is rotatable in relation to the vertical post; wherein the movable connecting mechanism comprises: an insertion part with at least a portion of the insertion part being arc-shaped, and a receiving part that has a receiving space compatible with the insertion part.
2 . The stair railing according to claim 1 , wherein the insertion part comprises:
an insertion body, which is cylindrical and extends along an axis direction, and a connector, wherein one end of the connector is rigidly connected to the insertion body, and the other end of the connector is rigidly connected to the horizontal rail.
3 . The stair railing according to claim 2 , wherein the cylindrical insertion body is provided with a gap extending along the axis direction and located opposite the connector.
4 . The stair railing according to claim 3 , wherein the cylindrical insertion body is hollow and provided with a predefined thickness.
5 . The stair railing according to claim 3 , wherein the connector extends along the axis direction and reaches both ends of the cylindrical insertion body.
6 . The stair railing according to claim 2 , wherein the receiving part comprises:
a receiving body rigidly connected to the top of the vertical post, wherein the receiving body is provided with a curved recess which is configured to form the receiving space and a connecting gap located on a surface of the receiving body, wherein the connecting gap is connecting with the curved recess and configured to allow the connector to pass through.
7 . The stair railing according to claim 6 , wherein the connecting gap has a predefined width, so that the connector is allowed to swing within a predetermined angular range.
8 . The stair railing according to claim 6 , wherein the receiving body is provided with a first surface rigidly connected to the vertical post and a second surface where the connecting gap is located.
9 . The stair railing according to claim 6 , wherein the receiving body is provided with a first lateral surface and a second lateral surface, and the curved recess traverses the receiving body along the axis direction to form two circular openings on the first lateral surface and second lateral surface.
10 . The stair railing according to claim 8 , wherein the receiving part further comprises at least two cover plates detachably fixed to the first lateral surface and second lateral surface to cover the circular openings.
11 . The stair railing according to claim 1 , wherein the horizontal rail comprises
a horizontal rail body with a predefined length and a handrail portion positioned on an upper surface of the horizontal rail body; wherein the lower surface of the horizontal rail body is connected to the vertical post through the movable connecting mechanism.
12 . The stair railing according to claim 1 , wherein the stair railing is consisting of a single horizontal rail and two vertical posts, and the two vertical posts are connected to respective ends of the horizontal rail through the movable connecting mechanism.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
