Abstract
A packaging assembly for a pair of eyeglasses. The packaging assembly includes: a front face, the front face comprising at least one front hanger opening and at least two eyeglass temple openings, and a fastening structure configured to restrict removal of an at least one eyeglass temple from the front face. The packaging assembly is configured to facilitate sampling of the pair of eyeglasses while engaged with the packaging assembly. The packaging assembly may include a back face connected to the front face; a cutout; and at least one security element. Furthermore, the fastening structure and at least two eyeglass temple openings may be cooperatively structured to dispose the pair of eyeglasses in a stored position in overlying relation to the front face. Additionally, the present invention relates to a packaging assembly that is practical—thereby permitting a user to effectively sample the pair of eyeglasses by trying them on.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A packaging assembly for a pair of eyeglasses comprising:
a front face, said front face structurally disposed to be removably mounted on a display structure, said front face comprising:
at least two eyeglass temple openings formed on said front face, said at least two eyeglass temple openings cooperatively structured and disposed to receive an at least one eyeglass temple therethrough and removably retain the at least one eyeglass temple therein; and
a fastening structure configured to restrict removal of the at least one eyeglass temple from said front face, said fastening structure and said at least two eyeglass temple openings cooperatively structured and disposed to facilitate movement of at least one component of the pair of eyeglasses outwardly from said front face such that the pair of eyeglasses is configured in a sampling position.
2 . The packaging assembly of claim 1 , wherein said front face further comprises at least one front hanger opening, said at least one front hanger opening configured to receive at least one hanging insert.
3 . The packaging assembly of claim 1 , wherein said at least two eyeglass temple openings comprises a first eyeglass temple opening and a second eyeglass temple opening.
4 . The packaging assembly of claim 1 , wherein said fastening structure comprises at least two fastening members, each of said at least two fastening members structurally disposed in aligned relation with a different one of said at least two eyeglass temple openings.
5 . The packaging assembly of claim 4 , wherein each of said at least two fastening members comprises an elastic structure configured to restrict removal of the at least one eyeglass temple from said front face.
6 . The packaging assembly of claim 1 , wherein said fastening structure and said at least two eyeglass temple openings are further cooperatively structured to dispose the pair of eyeglasses in a stored position in overlying relation to said front face.
7 . The packaging assembly of claim 1 , wherein said packaging assembly further comprises a back face, said back face hingedly connected to said front face.
8 . The packaging assembly of claim 7 , wherein said back face comprises at least one back hanger opening, said at least one back hanger opening configured to receive the at least one hanging insert.
9 . The packaging assembly of claim 7 , wherein said back face and said front face are structurally configured to cooperatively encompass an eyeglass case therebetween.
10 . The packaging assembly of claim 9 , wherein said packaging assembly further comprises a cutout formed in said front face, said cutout structurally configured to facilitate access to the eyeglass case.
11 . The packaging assembly of claim 9 , wherein said packaging assembly further comprises a cutout formed in said back face, said cutout structurally configured to facilitate access to the eyeglass case.
12 . The packaging assembly of claim 1 , wherein said packaging assembly further comprises at least one security element, said at least one security element configured to deter theft.
13 . The packaging assembly of claim 12 , wherein said at least one security element comprises an auditory indicator.
14 . The packaging assembly of claim 12 , wherein said at least one security element comprises a visual indicator.
15 . A packaging assembly for a pair of eyeglasses comprising:
a front face, said front face structurally disposed to be removably mounted on a display structure, said front face comprising:
at least two eyeglass temple openings formed on said front face, said at least two eyeglass temple openings cooperatively structured and disposed to receive an at least one eyeglass temple therethrough and removably retain the at least one eyeglass temple therein;
a back face, said back face hingedly connected to said front face; a fastening structure configured to restrict removal of the at least one eyeglass temple from said front face, said fastening structure and said at least two eyeglass temple openings cooperatively structured and disposed to facilitate movement of at least one component of the pair of eyeglasses outwardly from said front face such that the pair of eyeglasses is configured in a sampling position, said fastening structure comprising:
at least two fastening members, each of said at least two fastening members structurally disposed in aligned relation with a different one of said at least two eyeglass temple openings; and
said fastening structure and said at least two eyeglass temple openings cooperatively structured to dispose the pair of eyeglasses in a stored position in overlying relation to said front face.
16 . The packaging assembly of claim 15 , wherein said front face comprises at least one front hanger opening and said back face comprises at least one back hanger opening, said at least one front hanger opening and said at least one back hanger opening configured in aligned relation with one another.
17 . The packaging assembly of claim 15 , wherein said front face and said back face are structurally configured to cooperatively encompass an eyeglass case therebetween and said packaging assembly further comprises a cutout, said cutout structurally configured to facilitate access to the eyeglass case.
18 . The packaging assembly of claim 15 , wherein said packaging assembly further comprises at least one security element, said at least one security element configured to deter theft.
