Clothing processing apparatus

Abstract

The present application relates to a clothing processing apparatus comprising: a cabinet provided with a first housing and a second housing which provide an accommodation space; an outlet passing through the upper surface of the cabinet and communicating with the second housing; a first support part that can rotate from one surface of the cabinet toward the upper surface of the cabinet, and provides a space in which clothing is supported; a processing part which can be withdrawn from the first housing and provided so as to supply at least one of heat or moisture to the clothing; a body which can be withdrawn from the second housing via the outlet; and a second support part which is provided in the body and located above the first support part, provides a space in which the clothing is supported, and has a smaller area than the first support part. The second support part includes: a first board which is fixed to the body so as to be capable of rotating from the body toward the upper surface of the first support part; and a second board which is rotatably fixed to the first board so as to be capable of rotating on a plane parallel to the upper surface of the first support part, and which provides a space in which the clothing is supported.

1 . A laundry treating apparatus comprising:
 a body including a base, a housing provided on one side with an insertion hole into which the base is inserted, and a chamber located inside the housing;   a support body rotatably provided in the housing to form a space in which clothing is supported;   treating means that is removable from the chamber and capable of ironing the clothing by supplying at least one of heat and steam to the clothing mounted on the support body; and   an adjusting assembly that moves the housing along the height direction of the base.   
     
     
         2 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , further comprising a controller provided in the housing to control the operation of the adjusting assembly. 
     
     
         3 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the base is provided to form a bottom surface of the housing. 
     
     
         4 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the adjusting assembly comprises:
 a rack provided along the height direction of the housing;   a pinion rotatably fixed to the base and coupled to the rack; and   a pinion motor that rotates the pinion.   
     
     
         5 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a steam generator provided inside the body to generate steam;   a connector fixing portion provided in the housing and connected to a discharge port of the steam generator; and   a connector, wherein one end of the connector is connected to the connector fixing portion and the other end of the connector is connected to the treating means to supply steam to the treating means.   
     
     
         6 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 5 , wherein the one end of the connector is detachably connected to the connector fixing portion, and the other end of the connector is detachably connected to the treating means. 
     
     
         7 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 5 , wherein the connector fixing portion is provided on a side surface of the housing that connects a front surface and a rear surface of the housing. 
     
     
         8 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 an inlet provided on one side of the housing to expose the chamber; and   a door for opening and closing the inlet.   
     
     
         9 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 8 , wherein the inlet is provided on one of the front surface and the rear surface of the housing. 
     
     
         10 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 9 , wherein the other one of the front and rear surface of the housing is provided with a support accommodating groove for receiving the support body. 
     
     
         11 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a wheel provided on the base; and   a fixing portion provided to be pulled out from the base toward a ground on which the base is supported, and fixing the position of the housing by separating the wheel from the ground.   
     
     
         12 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 11 , wherein the fixing portion comprises:
 a fixing body located on a bottom of the base;   a fixing body driver that controls the position of the fixing body.   
     
     
         13 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a path extending from either a front surface of the housing or a rear surface of the housing to an upper surface of the housing;   a shaft support movable along the path;   a first pivoting shaft, one end of which is rotatably fixed to the shaft support and the other end of which is fixed to the support body; and   a second pivoting shaft rotatably fixing the shaft support to the housing.
