Double butterfly chair
Abstract
A double butterfly chair comprises a seat cover and a chair frame, wherein the chair frame includes a front support, a rear support, and a side support that connects the front and rear supports. The seat cover is suspended on the upper edges of the front and rear supports. Specifically, the front and rear supports each have two sets of intersecting hinged rods, and a middle support is connected between the hinged rod ends of the two sets of rods in the front and rear supports. The middle support and the side support together connect the front and rear supports, and ingeniously divide the chair into two seating areas.

The chair frame ( 200 ) has four facades, including the left and right facades corresponding to or symmetrical with the side brackets ( 1 ), the front facade's front bracket ( 2 ), and the rear facade's rear bracket ( 3 ). The front bracket ( 2 ) is lower than the rear bracket ( 3 ) and is connected by the two side brackets ( 1 ) to form a foldable and openable whole. The seat and backrest cover ( 100 ) are suspended on the upper edge of the front bracket ( 2 ) and the rear bracket ( 3 ). The front bracket ( 2 ) and the rear bracket ( 3 ) both have two groups of crossed hinged rods ( 201 ). A middle bracket ( 4 ) is connected between the hinged rod ( 201 ) at the end of the two groups of the brackets in the front and rear supports. A side bracket ( 1 ) is composed of the middle bracket ( 4 ) and a group of crossed hinged rods ( 201 ), which is used to connect the front bracket ( 2 ) and the rear bracket ( 3 ) together.
2 . A double butterfly chair as claimed in claim 1 , characterized in that: the middle support ( 4 ) includes an upper rod ( 41 ), a middle rod ( 42 ) and a lower rod ( 43 ), the two ends of the middle rod ( 42 ) are hinged correspondingly at the upper hinge point ( 2 A) in the middle of the front support and the lower hinge point ( 3 B) in the middle of the rear support; one end of the upper rod ( 41 ) is hinged at the upper hinge point ( 3 A) in the middle of the rear support, and the other end is hinged in the middle of the middle rod ( 42 ); the upper end of the lower rod ( 43 ) is hinged with a sliding sleeve ( 44 ), which is mounted on the middle rod ( 42 ), and the lower end of the lower rod ( 43 ) is hinged with a hinge assembly ( 45 ), which is then hinged with the corresponding rod ( 201 ) end of the two groups of rods in the front support ( 2 ) by means of the hinge assembly ( 45 ).
3 . A double butterfly chair according to claim 2 , characterized in that: the middle rod ( 42 ) is provided with an upper limit point ( 421 ) and a lower limit point ( 422 ) above the hinge point where it is hinged to the upper rod ( 41 ), and the sliding distance of the slide sleeve ( 44 ) is constrained by the upper limit point ( 421 ) and the lower limit point ( 422 ), and when the chair frame ( 200 ) is fully opened, the slide sleeve ( 44 ) abuts against the upper limit point ( 421 ), and during the folding process, the lower limit point ( 422 ) drives the lower rod ( 43 ) and pulls together the two arms ( 452 ) of the hinge component.
4 . A double butterfly chair according to claim 2 , characterized in that: the hinge assembly ( 45 ) comprises a hinge shaft ( 451 ) and two corresponding hinge arms ( 452 ), and the two ends of the hinge arms ( 452 ) are hinged with the two ends of the two members in the front frame ( 2 ); and the lower end of the lower member ( 43 ) is hinged on the hinge shaft ( 451 ) through a connecting piece ( 5 ).
5 . A double butterfly chair according to claim 4 , characterized in that the shaft ends of the two hinge arms ( 452 ) in the hinge component have enlarged outer heads ( 453 ), and when the hinge component ( 45 ) is fully opened, the outer heads ( 453 ) and the ends of the hinge arms ( 452 ) form a three-point support.
6 . A double butterfly chair according to claim 1 , characterized in that: the middle support ( 4 ) comprises an upper rod ( 41 ), a middle rod ( 42 ), and two lower rods ( 43 ), the two ends of the middle rod ( 42 ) are hinged correspondingly at the upper hinge point ( 2 A) in the middle of the front support and the lower hinge point ( 3 B) in the middle of the rear support; one end of the upper rod ( 41 ) is hinged at the upper hinge point ( 3 A) in the middle of the rear support, and the other end is hinged at the middle of the middle rod ( 42 ); the upper end of the two lower rods ( 43 ) is hinged with a slide sleeve ( 44 ), which is mounted on the middle rod ( 42 ), and the lower end of the two lower rods ( 43 ) is hinged with the corresponding rod end of the two groups of rods ( 201 ) in the front support ( 2 ).
7 . According to claim 6 , a double butterfly chair is characterized in that: both ends of the two lower rod components ( 43 ) in the middle bracket are hinged with the end portions of the two rod components ( 201 ) of the front bracket through a universal joint or a sphere joint ( 6 ) and the sliding sleeve ( 44 ).
8 . A double butterfly chair according to claim 6 , characterized in that: the middle support ( 4 ) includes an upper rod ( 41 ), a middle rod ( 42 ), and two lower rods ( 43 ). The middle rod ( 42 ) is hinged at its two ends to the upper hinge point ( 2 A) in the middle of the front support and the lower hinge point ( 3 B) in the middle of the rear support. One end of the upper rod ( 41 ) is hinged to the upper hinge point ( 3 A) in the middle of the rear support, and the other end is hinged to the middle of the middle rod ( 42 ). The upper ends of the two lower rods ( 43 ) are hinged with a sliding sleeve ( 44 ), which is slidably mounted on the middle rod ( 42 ), and the lower ends of the two lower rods ( 43 ) are hinged to the corresponding ends of the two groups of rods ( 201 ) in the front support. The two ends of the two lower rods ( 43 ) in the middle support are hinged to the corresponding ends of the two rods ( 201 ) in the front support through universal joints or sphere joints ( 6 ) and the sliding sleeve ( 44 ). The middle rod ( 42 ) is provided with an upper limit point ( 421 ) and a lower limit point ( 422 ) above the hinge point where it is hinged to the upper rod ( 41 ), and the sliding distance of the sliding sleeve ( 44 ) is restricted by the upper limit point ( 421 ) and the lower limit point ( 422 ). When the chair frame ( 200 ) is fully opened, the sliding sleeve ( 44 ) abuts against the upper limit point ( 421 ), and during the folding process, the lower limit point ( 422 ) drives the lower rod ( 43 ) and the two hinge arms ( 452 ) in the hinge assembly ( 45 ) to retract.
9 . A double butterfly chair according to claim 1 , characterized in that: the seat and back fabric cover ( 100 ) has a corresponding open fabric pocket ( 101 ) sewn at each of the six upper hinge points on the front frame ( 2 ) and rear frame ( 3 ), and is directly placed on the six upper hinge points with the aid of the open fabric pockets ( 101 ).Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
