Abstract

Disclosed herein are ready-to-apply patches having three-dimensional structures that may be adhered to a piece of clothing and methods of producing the same.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A patch comprising:
an adhesive element; and one or more three-dimensional structures connected to the adhesive element; wherein the one or more three-dimensional structures provide a three-dimensional profile to the patch.

2 . The patch of claim 1 , wherein the adhesive element comprises an adhesive selected from the group consisting of a polyurethane, co-polyester, polyamide, and SEBS block co-polymer.

3 . The patch of claim 1 , wherein the adhesive element comprises a stacked polyurethane film.

4 . The patch of claim 3 , wherein the stacked polyurethane film comprises a high melting temperature polyurethane layer and a low melting temperature polyurethane layer.

5 . The patch of claim 1 , wherein the adhesive element comprises a synthetic or synthetic blend fabric laminated with an adhesive selected from the group consisting of polyurethane, co-polyester, polyamide, and SEBS block co-polymer.

6 . The patch of claim 1 , further comprising a tape located between the one or more three-dimensional structures and the adhesive element.

7 . The patch of claim 1 , wherein the one or more three-dimensional structures are selected from the group consisting of a foam element, a fabric element, and a rubber element.

8 . The patch of claim 1 , wherein the one or more three-dimensional structures comprise a thermoplastic polyurethane.

9 . The patch of claim 1 , wherein the one or more three-dimensional structures have a thickness of about 0.5 mm to 3 mm.

10 . The patch of claim 1 , wherein the one or more three-dimensional structures have a rectangular shape.

11 . The patch of claim 1 , wherein the one or more three-dimensional structures have a width of about 2 mm to 10 mm and/or a length of about 20 mm to 50 mm.

12 . The patch of claim 1 , wherein the one or more three-dimensional structures have a circular shape.

13 . The patch of claim 1 , wherein the patch comprises a plurality of three-dimensional structures.

14 . The patch of claim 13 , wherein two or more three-dimensional structures are layered/stacked upon one another.

15 . The patch of claim 1 , wherein the patch comprises a plurality of three-dimensional structures separated from each other by a predefined distance.

16 . The patch of claim 1 , wherein the patch has a thickness of 1 mm to 5 mm.

17 . The patch of claim 1 , wherein the patch is multisided or circular.

18 . The patch of claim 1 , wherein the patch is attached/adhered to a clothing element.

19 . The patch of claim 1 , wherein the patch comprises a plurality of three-dimensional structures connected to the adhesive element on a first side; and wherein the patch further comprises a second plurality of three-dimensional structures connected to the adhesive element on a second side.

         20 . A patch comprising:
an adhesive element; a first plurality of three-dimensional structures adhered to a first side of the adhesive element; and a second plurality of three-dimensional structures adhered to a second side of the adhesive element.
