Abstract
A cleaner includes: a suction motor that generates suction force; a dust separation unit that separates dust from air suctioned by the suction force; a motor housing that covers the suction motor; a flow guide that surrounds an outer side of the motor housing and guides air discharged from the dust separation unit to the suction motor; and a body that forms an external appearance by surrounding the flow guide and guides air discharged from the suction motor together with the flow guide.

1 . A handy type cleaner comprising:
a suction inlet for suctioning in air containing dust; a suction motor that generates suction force to suction air through the suction inlet; an impeller rotatably connected to an upper of a shaft of the suction motor; a first cyclone unit that separates dust from the suctioned air by the suction inlet; a second cyclone unit that separates dust from the air received from the first cyclone unit; a filter unit having air exits for discharging the air that has passed the suction motor; a first air passage defined as a suction passage for introducing rising air discharged from the second cyclone unit into the suction motor, wherein the first air passage is formed to surround an outer circumference of the suction motor around a rotational axis of the impeller to introduce rising air discharged from the second cyclone unit into the suction motor; and a second air passage defined as an exhaust passage for discharging air passing through the suction motor to an outside, wherein the second air passage is formed to extend higher than the first air passage and radially formed around the rotational axis of the impeller above the impeller.
2 . The handy type cleaner of claim 1 , wherein the first air passage is formed to guide the rising air discharged from the second cyclone unit toward a center where the rotational axis of the suction motor is positioned.
3 . The handy type cleaner of claim 1 , wherein an upper end of the second air passage is formed at a higher position than an upper end of the first air passage.
4 . The handy type cleaner of claim 1 , further comprising:
a pre-filter surrounding the outer circumference of the suction motor for filtering the air flowing into the suction motor, wherein the first air passage is disposed to surround an outer circumference of the pre-filter.
5 . The handy type cleaner of claim 4 , wherein the filter unit further include an exhaust filter that filters the air passing through the suction motor,
wherein the air in the second air passage passes through the exhaust filter and is then exhausted to the outside.
6 . The handy type cleaner of claim 5 , further comprising:
a motor housing surrounding the outer circumference of the suction motor, wherein the pre-filter is disposed to surround an outer circumference of the motor housing, and wherein the second air passage extends upwardly so as to position higher than both the pre-filter and the motor housing.
7 . The handy type cleaner of claim 4 , wherein the air in the first air passage sequentially passes through the pre-filter and the motor housing and then flows into the suction motor.
8 . The handy type cleaner of claim 1 , further comprising:
a main body accommodating the first air passage and the suction motor, wherein the filter unit is detachably coupled to a top of the main body.
9 . The handy type cleaner of claim 8 , wherein the second air passage is formed to be defined when the filter unit is coupled to the main body.
10 . The handy type cleaner of claim 5 , wherein the exhaust filter is disposed at a higher position than the pre-filter disposed in the first air passage.
11 . The handy type cleaner of claim 10 , wherein the exhaust filter extends in a circumferential direction around the rotational axis.
12 . The handy type cleaner of claim 1 , further comprising:
a flow guide extends in a circumferential direction about the rotational axis to divide the first air passage from the second air passage.
13 . The handy type cleaner of claim 12 , wherein the flow guide is configured to guide:
air separated in the dust separation unit upward into the suction motor; and air passing through the suction motor to the air exits.
14 . The handy type cleaner of claim 12 , wherein the flow guide surrounds an upper part of a motor housing, and
wherein the motor housing is positioned to surround the outer circumference of the suction motor.
15 . The handy type cleaner of claim 12 , wherein the flow guide includes:
a first surface of the flow guide guides air from the cyclone unit to suction motor; and an second surface of the flow guide guides air passing through the suction motor toward an outside, and wherein the first surface and the second surface are formed to face opposite directions.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
