Abstract

An anti-reversion system, a reed valve system, a reed valve as an anti-reversion apparatus, an engine assembly, and methods of use are presented. This disclosure relates to an anti-reversion system, a reed valve system, a reed valve as an anti-reversion apparatus, an engine assembly, and methods of use. More specifically, and without limitation, the present disclosure relates to a reed valve implementation in an internal combustion engine. More specifically, and without limitation, the present disclosure relates to an internal combustion engine with increased fuel efficiency and higher power output and responsiveness. More specifically, and without limitation, the present disclosure relates to a reed valve utilized as an anti-reversion system in an internal combustion engine.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An anti-reversion system, comprising:
 a four-cycle engine;   an engine head;   a two-cycle reed;   a reed block;   a reed valve;   an intake;   an air flow;   an intake manifold;
 the intake manifold having a single runner for each single cylinder;
wherein the reed valve acts as an anti-reversion feature; wherein the reed valve provides anti-reversion as the reed valve is located in the intake tract of the four cycle engine eliminating the reversion effect along the intake; wherein eliminating the reversion effect along the intake prevents operation of the four cycle engine below peak efficiency.

2 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
wherein the elimination of the reversion effect due to reed valve placement increases low RPM torque in the four-cycle engine.

3 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
wherein the elimination of the reversion effect due to reed valve placement and cam configuration provides for high RPM peak horsepower and high torque while the four-cycle engine operates under a peak RPM range.

4 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
 a vehicle.

5 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
 a crankshaft.

6 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
 an exhaust camshaft.

7 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
 an intel camshaft.

8 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
 a piston.

9 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
 a connecting rod.

10 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
 a cooling water jacket.

11 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
 a liquid fuel.

12 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
an ignition source; wherein the ignition source is a spark plug.

13 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
 a gas.

14 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
 an exhaust.

15 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
 an ignition source.

16 . A reed valve as an anti-reversion apparatus, comprising:
an engine; a reed valve; an air flow; an intake manifold; wherein the reed valve acts as an anti-reversion feature; wherein the reed valve provides anti-reversion as the reed valve is located in the intake tract of the engine; wherein the reed valve eliminates the reversion effect along the intake manifold.

17 . The system of claim 16 , further comprising:
 an ignition source.

18 . The system of claim 16 , further comprising:
 an exhaust manifold.

19 . The system of claim 16 , further comprising:
 a plurality of spark plugs.

20 . A method of increasing the fuel efficiency and power output of an internal combustion engine, the steps comprising:
providing an engine; the engine having an air flow and an intake manifold; configuring a reed valve in the intake manifold; wherein the reed valve is configured to prevent reversion along the intake manifold.
