Abstract

A dishwasher appliance includes a tub defining a wash chamber with a diverter assembly at a bottom of the wash chamber, and a wash conduit is positioned in the wash chamber. The wash conduit includes a first supply channel extending between the diverter assembly and a wash conduit outlet, and a second supply channel separate from the first supply channel in the wash conduit. The second supply channel extends between the diverter assembly and an upper spray assembly. The second supply channel includes a first outlet and a second outlet. The second supply channel is configured such that wash fluid is flowable through the second supply channel along a flow path through the second supply channel, and a center of the first outlet of the second supply channel is positioned offset from a center of the flow path through the second supply channel.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A dishwasher appliance, comprising:
a tub defining a wash chamber; a diverter assembly at a bottom of the wash chamber; and a wash conduit positioned in the wash chamber, the wash conduit comprising
a first supply channel extending between the diverter assembly and a wash conduit outlet, and
a second supply channel separate from the first supply channel in the wash conduit, the second supply channel extending between the diverter assembly and an upper spray assembly, the second supply channel comprising a first outlet and a second outlet, the second supply channel configured such that wash fluid is flowable through the second supply channel along a flow path through the second supply channel,
wherein a center of the first outlet of the second supply channel is positioned offset from a center of the flow path through the second supply channel.

2 . The dishwasher appliance of claim 1 , further comprising:
a first rack assembly slidably positioned within the wash chamber; a first spray assembly positioned in the wash chamber and configured to direct wash fluids at the first rack assembly; a second rack assembly slidably positioned in the wash chamber above the first rack assembly; a second spray assembly positioned in the wash chamber and configured to direct wash fluids at the second rack assembly; a third rack assembly slidably positioned in the wash chamber above the second rack assembly; and a third spray assembly positioned within the third rack assembly and configured to direct wash fluid at articles located in the third rack assembly.

3 . The dishwasher appliance of claim 2 , wherein the first outlet of the second supply channel supplies the second spray assembly with wash fluid.

4 . The dishwasher appliance of claim 2 , wherein the second outlet of the second supply channel supplies the upper spray assembly with wash fluid.

5 . The dishwasher appliance of claim 2 , wherein a width of the wash conduit proximate the first outlet along a lateral direction is no more than ten centimeters.

6 . The dishwasher appliance of claim 2 , further comprising a second spray assembly coupling is positioned at the first outlet of the second supply channel.

7 . The dishwasher appliance of claim 6 , wherein the second spray assembly coupling is mounted to wires of the second rack assembly.

8 . The dishwasher appliance of claim 7 , wherein the wash conduit extends vertically through the wash chamber proximate the wires of a back wall of the second rack assembly.

9 . The dishwasher appliance of claim 8 , wherein the wires of the back wall of the second rack assembly are spaced from the wash conduit by no less than two millimeters and no greater than twenty millimeters.

10 . A dishwasher appliance defining a vertical direction, a lateral direction, and a transverse direction, the vertical, lateral, and transverse directions being mutually perpendicular, the dishwasher appliance comprising:
 a tub defining a wash chamber;   a diverter assembly at a bottom of the wash chamber;   a first rack assembly slidably positioned within the wash chamber;   a first spray assembly positioned in the wash chamber and configured to direct wash fluids at the first rack assembly;   a second rack assembly slidably positioned in the wash chamber above the first rack assembly;   a second spray assembly positioned in the wash chamber and configured to direct wash fluids at the second rack assembly;   a third rack assembly slidably positioned in the wash chamber above the second rack assembly;   a third spray assembly positioned within the third rack assembly and configured to direct wash fluid at articles located in the third rack assembly;   an upper spray assembly positioned in the wash chamber and configured to direct wash fluids at the third rack assembly; and   a wash conduit positioned in the wash chamber, the wash conduit comprising;
a first supply channel extending between the diverter assembly and a wash conduit outlet, and
a second supply channel separate from the first supply channel in the wash conduit, the second supply channel extending between the diverter assembly and an upper spray assembly, the second supply channel comprising a first outlet and a second outlet, the second supply channel configured such that wash fluid is flowable through the second supply channel along a flow path through the second supply channel,
wherein a center of the first outlet of the second supply channel is positioned offset from a center of the flow path through the second supply channel.

11 . The dishwasher appliance of claim 10 , wherein the first outlet of the second supply channel supplies the second spray assembly with wash fluid.

12 . The dishwasher appliance of claim 10 , wherein the second outlet of the second supply channel supplies the upper spray assembly with wash fluid.

13 . The dishwasher appliance of claim 11 , wherein a width of the wash conduit proximate the first outlet along a lateral direction is no more than ten centimeters.

14 . The dishwasher appliance of claim 11 , further comprising a second spray assembly coupling is positioned at the first outlet of the second supply channel.

15 . The dishwasher appliance of claim 14 , wherein the second spray assembly coupling is mounted to wires of the second rack assembly.
