Abstract
The present disclosure, in one embodiment, relates to a randomizer that includes a starter assembly and a collector. The starter assembly provides participants in a race with a fair start and also provides spectators with a beneficial view of the not only the start of the race, but in some cases, the race itself, including the finish.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 .- 20 . (canceled)
21 . A collector for a modular game, the collector comprising:
a partial sphere-shaped base, the base having a width at least five times the width of a single modular cube, and further having a surface with a circular perimeter; and a retrieval tray attached to the base, wherein the retrieval tray extends beyond the circular perimeter.
22 . The collector of claim 21 , further including a moveable stopper positioned along the circular perimeter of the base before reaching the retrieval tray.
23 . The collector of claim 22 , wherein the moveable stopper is hinged such that the stopper may be moved above the circular perimeter of the base at least as high as the height of a standard marble.
24 . The collector of claim 21 , the base further comprising a top, the top having joinery that is connectable with a bottom surface of a first modular cube.
25 . The collector of claim 24 , further comprising a plurality of additional modular pieces connectable in series to the first modular cube.
26 . The collector of claim 25 , wherein a number of the plurality of additional modular pieces are connectable in a single cantilevered direction.
27 . The collector of claim 25 , wherein a number of the plurality of additional pieces are connectable in more than one cantilevered direction.
28 . The collector of claim 26 , wherein the plurality of additional pieces includes at least one rail.
29 . The collector of claim 28 , wherein the plurality of additional pieces further includes at least one cube.
30 . The collector of claim 21 , the collector being comprised of wood.
31 . The collector of claim 21 , the retrieval tray being removably attachable to the base.
32 . A finish tray for a modular game, the finish tray comprising:
a base with a base surface of rotation formed by an arc, the surface of rotation having a vertical axis, the vertical axis passing through a joinery portion integrally molded into a fitting that mates with a first single-exit cube, the joinery portion including five connection points, including one connection point on each of four sides of the joinery portion and one connection point on a top of the joinery portion, wherein at least one side of the four sides of the joinery portion has a unified opening, and a pathway for a marble that runs out of the joinery through the unified opening.
33 . The finish tray of claim 32 , wherein a plurality of modular pieces are connectable in series to the first single-exit cube.
34 . The finish tray of claim 33 , wherein a number of the plurality of modular pieces may be connectable in a single cantilevered direction.
35 . The finish tray of claim 33 , wherein a number of the plurality of modular pieces may be connectable in at least two cantilevered directions.
36 . The finish tray of claim 33 , wherein at least one of the plurality of modular pieces is a rail.
37 . The finish tray of claim 33 , wherein at least one of the plurality of modular pieces is a cube.
38 . The finish tray of claim 32 , wherein the joinery further comprises a plurality of vertical support ribs.
39 . A collector for a modular game, the collector comprising:
a base having a width at least five times the width of a single modular cube, the base also having a top center having joinery that is connectable with a bottom surface of a first modular cube and is also connectable with a side-joinery of the first modular cube, and the base having a pathway for a marble leading from the joinery to a retrieval tray.
40 . The collector of claim 39 , a plurality of modular pieces being connectable in series with the first modular cube.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
