Abstract
Disclosed is an airflow hood for a hair dryer, which includes a fixing component, a flaring airflow shell, and a plate with holes for air exiting, the fixing component includes a sleeve and two clamping mechanisms arranged inside the sleeve at opposite sides, each of the clamping mechanisms includes two clips symmetrically arranged left and right and a pressing block located between the two clips for simultaneously pressing the two clips, wherein the clip includes a clip body extending in the circumferential direction of the sleeve, a mounting shaft which is used to hingedly install the clip body on the sleeve, a torsion spring, and a contact plate hingedly connected to the clip body via a rotating shaft.

1 . An airflow hood for a hair dryer, comprising a fixing component for connecting an air outlet of the hair dryer, a flaring airflow shell fixed with the fixing component, and a plate with holes for air exiting, which is provided at an air outlet end of the airflow shell;
wherein the fixing component comprises a rigid sleeve and two clamping mechanisms arranged inside the sleeve at opposite sides, each of the clamping mechanisms includes two clips symmetrically arranged and a pressing block configured to simultaneously press the two clips and located between the two clips, and wherein the clip includes a clip body extending in a circumferential direction of the sleeve, a mounting shaft configured such that the clip body is hinged to the sleeve and arranged in an axial direction of the sleeve, a torsion spring arranged between the clip body and the sleeve such that a clamping end of the clip body tends to move away from an inner wall of the sleeve, and a contact plate hinged to the clip body, at the clamping end, via a rotating shaft extending parallel to the mounting shaft.
2 . The airflow hood for a hair dryer according to claim 1 , wherein the airflow shell is made of flexible silicone, and the airflow shell has several folding portions along an axial direction, wherein the airflow shell is capable of being folded along the axial direction at the folding portions.

The airflow hood for a hair dryer according to claim 2 , wherein the airflow shell includes a first annular shield, a second annular shield and a third annular shield whose diameters increase sequentially, and a flaring angle of the second annular shield is larger than a flaring angle of the first annular shield and a flaring angle of the third annular shield.

The airflow hood for a hair dryer according to claim 2 , wherein the airflow shell is provided with a first mounting ring extending radially inward at its top, and the first mounting ring is provided with a rigid gasket, and wherein the sleeve is provided with a second mounting ring extending radially inward at its top, a plurality of support columns are circumferentially arranged on a bottom surface of the second mounting ring and extend against the first mounting ring, the airflow shell is fixed to the support columns through screws passing through the gasket and the first mounting ring, and some of the support columns act as the mounting shafts for hinging the clip bodies.
5 . The airflow hood for a hair dryer according to claim 4 , wherein both the clip bodies and the contact plates are accommodated in an annular groove formed between the first mounting ring and the second mounting ring, when the two opposing pressing blocks are radially pressed.
6 . The airflow hood for a hair dryer according to claim 4 , wherein a mutually cooperative sliding mechanism is provided by the second mounting ring and the pressing block along a moving direction of the pressing block.
7 . The airflow hood for a hair dryer according to claim 1 , wherein the clip body has a slot, at the clamping end, for installing the contact plate, and wherein the contact plate is hingedly installed within the slot via two rotating shafts at the middle of the contact plate.
8 . The airflow hood for a hair dryer according to claim 7 , wherein the contact plate includes a rigid back board, and a flexible silicone plate fixed on a front side of the back board to be in contact with the hair dryer, and wherein the flexible silicone plate has a corrugated or toothed surface for preventing the hair dryer from slipping at its front side.
9 . The airflow hood for a hair dryer according to claim 1 , wherein the plate has a cavity on its inner side.
