Wine bottle holder

Abstract

A bottle holder, primarily for wine, has a hollow rectangular base having a central opening, and bottle neck support member having a circular opening larger than the neck of a bottle, and a handle. Strings are attached to one corner of the support base with the other end of the string passing up through an opening in the neck support member, through the handle, down through another opening in the neck support member and then attached to another corner of the support base

A bottle holder comprising a base having a circular opening in its top surface for receiving a bottle, a bottle neck support member having a central opening for receiving the neck of a bottle and a plurality of openings for strings, a handle having an opening and the strings being connected to the base and passing through the openings on the bottle neck support member and the handle. 
     
     
         2 . The bottle holder of  claim 1  in which the size of said opening in said base is adjustable. 
     
     
         3 . The bottle holder of  claim 1  in which said circular opening has flexible members for adjusting the size of the opening. 
     
     
         4 . The bottle holder of  claim 1  including a flexible member associated with said circular opening in said top surface of said base, said flexible member having an opening that is adjustable in size. 
     
     
         5 . The bottle holder of  claim 1  in which said handle has an opening therethrough, said strings passing through said opening. 
     
     
         6 . The bottle holder of  claim 1  in which said bottle neck support member is made of a foam material. 
     
     
         7 . A bottle holding member comprising a handle, a bottle neck support member for receiving the neck of a bottle, and a base having a circular opening for receiving the base of a bottle, and a handle, the handle, the neck support member and the base connected by strings. 
     
     
         8 . The bottle holder of  claim 7  in which said bottle neck support member has openings for said strings to pass through said bottle neck support member in slidable engagement. 
     
     
         9 . The bottle holder of  claim 7  in which the size of said central opening is adjustable. 
     
     
         10 . The bottle holder of  claim 9  in which said circular opening has flexible members for adjusting the size of the opening. 
     
     
         11 . The bottle holder of  claim 9  in which said flexible member associated with said circular opening in said top surface includes cut-through segments for adjusting the size of said circular opening. 
     
     
         12 . The bottle holder of  claim 7  in which said handle has an opening therethrough, said strings passing through said opening. 
     
     
         13 . The bottle holder of  claim 7  in which said bottle neck support member is made of a foam material.
