Abstract

The invention relates to a sanitary fitting comprising an adjustment device for adjusting the temperature of a liquid to be dispensed, in particular mixed water, and for adjusting the flow rate for the liquid to be dispensed, and a dispensing device for dispensing liquid by means of a spout, with a first sensor designed to detect a user's gestures, and a second sensor designed to detect objects, and whereby the sensors, the adjustment device and the dispensing device can be connected to a control device in such a way that the dispensing device can be controlled using the control device in such a way that the liquid is dispensed by the dispensing device on the basis of a detected first gesture, and whereby the liquid is dispensed by the dispensing device while an object is detected by the second sensor.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A sanitary-fitting, comprising
an adjustment device for adjusting the temperature of a liquid to be dispensed, in particular mixed water, and for adjusting the flow rate for the liquid to be dispensed, and a dispensing device for dispensing liquid by means of a spout, on which a first sensor designed to detect a user's gestures, and a second sensor designed to detect objects, are located and whereby the sensors, the adjustment device and the dispensing device can be connected to a control device in such a way that the dispensing device can be controlled using the control device in such a way that the liquid is dispensed using the dispensing device based on a detected first gesture, and that the liquid is dispensed by the dispensing device while an object is detected by the second sensor.

2 . The sanitary fitting according to claim 1 , characterized in that the first sensor and/or the second sensor is designed as a non-contact sensor, in particular with the first sensor and/or the second sensor being designed as infrared or ToF sensors.

3 . The sanitary fitting according to claim 1 , characterized in that the dispensing device has a manually operable dispensing control element and/or the adjustment device has a manually operable adjustment control element.

4 . The sanitary fitting according to claim 3 , characterized in that the control device is designed to control the dispensing device independently of the position of the dispensing control element.

5 . The sanitary fitting-according to claim 3 , characterized in that the control device is designed to stop the dispensing of liquid by means of the dispensing device if the dispensing operating element is moved in two different directions within a predetermined period of time.

6 . The sanitary fitting according to claim 1 , characterized in that the adjustment device and the dispensing device are designed as a single-lever device such that both the dispensing can be initiated, and the temperature can be adjusted using the one lever.

7 . The sanitary fitting according to claim 1 , characterized in that at least one of the sensors, in particular the first sensor, is arranged on a base unit and in that at least the other sensor, in particular the second sensor, is arranged on a support device and/or on the dispensing device, in particular on the spout.

8 . The sanitary fitting according to claim 6 , characterized in that the support device comprises a support arm which is located on the base unit.

9 . The sanitary-fitting according to claim 1 , characterized in that the control device is designed to dispense cold water by means of the dispensing device while an object is detected by the second sensor.

10 . The sanitary fitting according to claim 1 , characterized in that a quantity preset device is provided for presetting a quantity of liquid to be dispensed.

11 . The sanitary fitting according to claim 1 , characterized in that the control device is designed to dispense a predetermined amount of liquid using the dispensing device after a gesture has been detected by the first sensor.

12 . The sanitary fitting according to claim 1 , characterized in that the detection areas of the first and second sensors are oriented in different spatial directions, in particular with the spatial directions being oriented perpendicular to each other.

13 . The sanitary fitting according to claim 1 , characterized in that an indicator device is provided to indicate at least one operating state of the sanitary fitting, in particular where the indicator device is located on the support device.

14 . The sanitary fitting according to claim 1 , characterized in that a power supply device is provided for supplying the sanitary fitting with electrical power.

15 . The sanitary fitting according to claim 14 , characterized in that the power supply device has a housing using which the power supply device can be detachably connected, in particular without the use of tools, to a housing of the control device.

16 . A method for dispensing a liquid by means of a sanitary fitting, wherein the sanitary fitting comprises an adjustment device for adjusting the temperature for the liquid to be dispensed, in particular mixed water, and for adjusting the flow rate for the liquid to be dispensed and
a dispensing device for dispensing liquid by means of a spout, and a first and a second sensor, comprising the following steps:
detecting a gesture made by a user by the first sensor, and in the case of a detected gesture, dispensing the liquid by means of the dispensing device on the basis of the detected gesture, and
detecting of an object by the second sensor, and when an object is detected, dispensing of the liquid by the dispensing device.

17 . The method according to claim 16 , characterized in that the dispensing of liquid by the dispensing device stops when the dispensing control element of the dispensing device is moved in two different directions by a user within a predeterminable period of time.

18 . The method according to claim 16 , characterized in that a predetermined amount of liquid is dispensed by the dispensing device after a gesture is detected by the first sensor.

19 . The method according to claim 16 , characterized in that cold water is dispensed by the dispensing device for as long as an object is detected by the second sensor.
