a cockpit seating area including at least one seat and a control console for operating the boat; a deck; and a seating assembly located on the deck, the seating assembly including:
a first seat located on the deck and having a first seating surface; and
a second seat located on the deck and having a second seating surface, the second seating surface being moveable between a retracted position and at least one raised position, the second seating surface being configured to be a seat bottom in both the retracted position and the at least one raised position, the entirety of the second seating surface being higher in the at least one raised position than it is in the retracted position.
22 . The boat of claim 21 , wherein the height of the second seating surface in the retracted position is substantially the same height as the first seating surface.
23 . The boat of claim 21 , wherein the height of the second seating surface in the retracted position is at a level higher than the first seating surface.
24 . The boat of claim 21 , wherein the second seating surface is moveable to a plurality of raised positions, and the level of the second seating surface, in each raised position, is higher than the level of the first seating surface.
25 . The boat of claim 21 , wherein the second seat does not include a seatback.
26 . The boat of claim 21 , further comprising a plurality of the second seats, each of the second seating surfaces of the plurality of the second seats being individually moveable between a retracted position and at least one raised position.
27 . The boat of claim 21 , wherein the second seating surface is either aft of the first seating surface or forward of the first seating surface.
28 . The boat of claim 21 , further comprising a stern seating area, wherein the stern seating area is aft of the cockpit seating area and the seating assembly is located in the stern seating area.
29 . The boat of claim 21 , further comprising a bow seating area, wherein the bow seating area is forward of the cockpit seating area and the seating assembly is located in the bow seating area.
30 . The boat of claim 21 , wherein the first seat is a bench seat that is elongated in a fore and aft direction of the boat.
31 . A boat comprising:
a deck; a sun pad seat located on the deck, the sun pad seat including:
a main member having an upper surface, the upper surface of the main member being a first seating surface; and
one or more moveable members, each having an upper surface and being moveable between a first position and a second position, wherein, in the first position, the upper surface of the moveable member forms a substantially flat surface with the upper surface of the main member and, in the second position, the upper surface of the moveable member is inclined upward relative to the upper surface of the main member.
32 . The boat of claim 31 , further comprising a plurality of the moveable members.
33 . The boat of claim 32 , wherein the plurality of the moveable members is positioned adjacent to each other on one side of the main member.
34 . The boat of claim 32 , wherein the plurality of the moveable members is positioned forward of the main member.
35 . The boat of claim 31 , wherein the deck includes a foot surface, the foot surface being a portion of the deck underneath the one or more moveable members of the sun pad seat when the one or more moveable members are in the first position,
wherein, when the one or more moveable members of the first seat are in the second position, the foot surface is exposed.
36 . The boat of claim 35 , further comprising a second seat positioned relative to the sun pad seat with the foot surface therebetween.
37 . The boat of claim 31 , further comprising a retractable seat located on the deck and having a second seating surface, the second seating surface being moveable between a retracted position and at least one raised position, and the second seating surface being configured to be a seat bottom in both the retracted position and the at least one raised position.
38 . The boat of claim 37 , wherein the second seating surface in the retracted position is substantially the same height as the upper surface of the main member.
39 . The boat of claim 37 , wherein the second seating surface in the retracted position is at a level higher than the upper surface of the main member.
40 . The boat of claim 37 , wherein the second seating surface in the at least one raised position is at a level higher than the upper surface of the main member.
41 . The boat of claim 31 , further comprising:
a cockpit seating area including at least one seat and a control console for operating the boat; and a stern seating area, wherein the stern seating area is aft of the cockpit seating area and the sun pad seat is located in the stern seating area.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
