Abstract

A well plug, comprising a cylindrical body, a plurality of cylindrical fins encircling the cylindrical body, a concrete core disposed within the cylindrical body and a locking feature disposed in the concrete core and configured to lock with an adjacent well plug.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 20 . (canceled).

         21 . A well plug, comprising:
 a cylindrical body having a plurality of cylindrical fins encircling the cylindrical body, the cylindrical body forming an interior space; a solid concrete core disposed within the cylindrical body and filling the interior space; and a locking feature partially disposed in the concrete core and partially extending from the cylindrical body, the locking feature configured to lock with an adjacent well plug.

         22 . The well plug of claim 21 wherein the locking feature further comprises a plurality of locking sub-features on a first end that partially extends from the cylindrical body.

         23 . The well plug of claim 21 wherein the locking feature further comprises a plurality of locking sub-features on a first end that partially extends from the cylindrical body and a second end that is flat and which terminates in the concrete core.

         24 . The well plug of claim 21 wherein the locking feature further comprises shapes disposed around a circumference of a cavity.

         25 . The well plug of claim 21 wherein the locking feature comprises a uniform cylindrical bore that extends from a first end that partially extends from the cylindrical body and a second end that terminates in the concrete core.

         26 . The well plug of claim 21 wherein the locking feature comprises a uniform cylindrical bore that extends from a first end that partially extends from the cylindrical body and a second end that terminates in the concrete core, and wherein the cylindrical bore continues into the concrete core.

         27 . The well plug of claim 21 wherein the locking feature comprises a uniform cylindrical bore that extends from a first end that partially extends from the cylindrical body and a second end that terminates in the concrete core, and wherein the cylindrical bore continues through the concrete core to a second end of the cylindrical body.

         28 . A well plug, comprising:
 a cylindrical body having a first end and a second end and forming an interior cylindrical chamber; a plurality of cylindrical fins encircling the cylindrical body; a solid concrete core disposed within the interior cylindrical chamber of the cylindrical body from the first end to the second end of the cylindrical body; and a locking feature disposed at a first end of the cylindrical body extending partially into the concrete core and partially outside of the concrete core through the cylindrical body.

         29 . The well plug of claim 28 further comprising a second locking feature disposed at the second end of the cylindrical body and extending into the concrete core.

         30 . The well plug of claim 28 wherein the locking feature further comprises a plurality of locking sub-features.

         31 . The well plug of claim 28 wherein the locking feature comprises a plurality of radially-disposed locking sub-features.

         32 . The well plug of claim 28 wherein the locking feature comprises a uniform cylindrical bore that extends from a first end that partially extends from the cylindrical body and a second end that terminates in the concrete core.

         33 . The well plug of claim 28 wherein the locking feature comprises a uniform cylindrical bore that extends from a first end that partially extends from the cylindrical body and a second end that terminates in the concrete core, and wherein the cylindrical bore continues into the concrete core.

         34 . A well plug system, comprising:
 a solid concrete core well plug further comprising:
 a cylindrical body having a plurality of cylindrical fins encircling the cylindrical body, the cylindrical body forming an interior space;
 a solid concrete core disposed within the cylindrical body and filling the interior space; and
 a locking feature partially disposed in the concrete core and partially extending from the cylindrical body, the locking feature configured to lock with an adjacent well plug;
   a hollow concrete core well plug with a locking feature; and wherein the locking feature of the solid concrete core well plug interlocks with the locking feature of the hollow concrete core well plug.

         35 . The well plug system of claim 34 wherein the hollow concrete core well plug comprises a cylindrical body.

         36 . The well plug system of claim 34 wherein the hollow concrete core well plug comprises a plurality of cylindrical fins encircling the cylindrical body.

         37 . The well plug system of claim 34 wherein the hollow concrete core well plug comprises a concrete core disposed within the cylindrical body.

         38 . The well plug system of claim 34 wherein the hollow concrete core well plug comprises a cavity disposed in the concrete core along an axis of the cylindrical body.

         39 . The well plug system of claim 34 wherein the hollow concrete core well plug comprises a second locking feature disposed at a second end in the concrete core.
