Abstract

A ventilation screed includes an attachment flange and an upper flange that extends from a first side of the attachment flange along an upper edge region of the attachment flange. A bead wall extends partially along the upper flange and is spaced from and below the upper flange. A terminal end of the bead wall is spaced from the attachment flange. A return bead extends from the bead wall away from the upper flange and partially along the first side of the attachment flange. A spacing element is disposed at an outer surface of the upper flange and extends between the outer surface of the upper flange and a horizontal structure above the ventilation screed to space the upper flange from the horizontal structure. A first adhesive element is disposed at the second side of the attachment flange and engages the upright wall structure.
