Abstract

The dishwasher may comprise: a tub forming a washing chamber; a spray unit for spraying water into the washing chamber; a sump to accommodate the water to be supplied to the spray unit; and a duct including a first body part, which extends along a first direction and is connectable to the spray unit, and a second body part, which extends from the first body part in a second direction and allows the water from the sump to be introduced. The duct can include: a first frame including a plurality of first coupling members aligned in the first direction and the second direction; a second frame including a plurality of second coupling members that can be coupled to the plurality of first coupling members; a guide path formed by the coupling of the first frame and the second frame; and a partition to partition the guide path into a plurality of sections.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A dishwasher comprising:
 a tub forming a washing chamber; a spray unit configured to spray water into the washing chamber; a sump configured to accommodate water to be supplied to the spray unit; and a duct including:
 a first body portion extending along a first direction and connectable to the spray unit,
 a second body portion extending from the first body portion along a second direction and into which the water from the sump is introduced;
 a first frame including a plurality of first coupling members arranged along the first direction and the second direction;
 a second frame including a plurality of second coupling members coupleable to the plurality of first coupling members of the first frame;
 a guide flow path formed by the first frame and the second frame being coupled to each other; and
 a partition configured to partition the guide flow path into a plurality of sections.

         2 . The dishwasher of claim of claim 1 , wherein
 the first frame further includes a first edge extending toward the second frame and configured to form the plurality of first coupling members, the second frame further includes a second edge extending toward the first frame and configured to form the plurality of second coupling members, and the first edge is arranged opposite to the second edge such that the plurality of first coupling members formed by the first edge are configured to be coupled to the plurality of second coupling members formed by the second edge.

         3 . The dishwasher of claim 1 , wherein the partition includes:
 a first partition protrusion formed on the first frame and protruding toward the second frame, and a second partition protrusion formed on the second frame and protruding toward the first frame and configured to contact the first partition protrusion in a third direction.

         4 . The dishwasher of claim 1 , wherein the partition includes:
 a fixing hole formed on the first frame; and a fixing protrusion formed on the second frame and configured to be inserted into the fixing hole.

         5 . The dishwasher of claim 4 , wherein a portion of the fixing protrusion protruding through the fixing hole is configured to be caught onto the fixing hole by hot staking.

         6 . The dishwasher of claim 4 , wherein the fixing protrusion further includes a fixing hook configured to be caught onto the fixing hole.

         7 . The dishwasher of claim 1 , wherein the first frame includes a front frame connected to the sump, and a rear frame separably coupled to a rear side of the front frame.

         8 . The dishwasher of  claim 7 , wherein
 the front frame includes a first connecting portion formed at an end facing the rear frame, and the rear frame includes a second connecting portion formed at an end facing the front frame to be separably coupled to the first connecting portion in the second direction, the second connecting portion forming an accommodation space configured to accommodate the first connecting portion.

         9 . The dishwasher of claim 8 , wherein the second frame is configured to be inserted into the accommodation space of the rear frame while the front frame and the rear frame are coupled to each other, to restrict movement of the first connecting portion.

         10 . The dishwasher of claim 8 , wherein the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion are arranged in the second body portion.

         11 . The dishwasher of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of first coupling members are configured to be hook-coupled to the plurality of second coupling members.

         12 . The dishwasher of  claim 1 , wherein
 the first frame further includes a first coupling protrusion formed along a first edge and protruding toward the second frame, and the second frame further includes a second coupling protrusion formed along a second edge and protruding toward the first frame, the second coupling protrusion being configured to contact the first coupling protrusion in a third direction.

         13 . The dishwasher of claim 1 , wherein the guide flow path is arranged in a third direction intersecting the first direction and the second direction.

         14 . The dishwasher of claim 1 , wherein the first body portion formed by the second frame is separably coupled to a front side of the first body portion formed by the first frame.

         15 . The dishwasher of claim 1 , wherein the second body portion formed by the second frame is separably coupled to an upper side of the second body portion formed by the first frame.
