Abstract

A toy vehicle carrier is presented herein. The toy vehicle carrier includes a head, a main body coupled to the head, a base coupled to the main body, and an appendage coupled to the base. The head is configured to capture a toy vehicle in a closed configuration of the head and expel the toy vehicle in an open configuration of the head. The main body is configured to rotate relative to the base to transition the toy vehicle carrier between a first configuration and a second configuration. The toy vehicle carrier also includes a wheel coupled to the base. The wheel includes a protrusion and is configured to rotate about an axis to cause the protrusion to movably engage a camming surface of the appendage to cause the appendage to rotate relative to the base.

         21 . A toy vehicle carrier, comprising:
a main body comprising an interior configured to store a toy vehicle; a head coupled to the main body, wherein the head is configured to receive the toy vehicle; a base coupled to the main body; and a wheel coupled to the main body and configured to rotate to facilitate movement of the main body along a surface, wherein the main body is configured to pivot relative to the base to lift the wheel away from the surface.

22 . The toy vehicle carrier of claim 21 , comprising an additional wheel coupled to the base and configured to rotate to facilitate movement of the main body along the surface.

23 . The toy vehicle carrier of claim 22 , wherein the wheel engages the surface in a first configuration of the toy vehicle carrier, the main body is configured to pivot relative to the base to lift the wheel away from the surface to transition the toy vehicle carrier to a second configuration in which the wheel is disengaged from the surface, and the additional wheel is engaged with the surface in the first configuration and in the second configuration of the toy vehicle carrier.

24 . The toy vehicle carrier of claim 21 , comprising an extension coupled to the main body, wherein the extension is configured to rotate relative to the main body to transition between a first position in which the extension extends along the main body toward the head and a second position in which the extension extends away from the head.

25 . The toy vehicle carrier of claim 21 , wherein the head is coupled to the main body at a first end of the main body, and a second end, opposite the first end, of the main body includes an outlet configured to expel the toy vehicle from the interior of the main body.

26 . The toy vehicle carrier of claim 25 , wherein the base is coupled to the main body at the second end of the main body.

27 . The toy vehicle carrier of claim 26 , wherein the head comprises a passageway extending to the interior to direct the toy vehicle from the head toward the outlet of the main body.

28 . The toy vehicle carrier of claim 21 , comprising an arm coupled to the main body and extending toward the head, wherein the wheel is coupled to the arm.

29 . The toy vehicle carrier of claim 21 , wherein the head comprises a roller configured to engage the toy vehicle and rotate to capture the toy vehicle upon the head receiving the toy vehicle.

         30 . A toy vehicle carrier, comprising:
a main body comprising an interior configured to store a toy vehicle, wherein the main body comprises a first track along which the toy vehicle may travel; a base coupled to the main body, wherein the main body is configured to pivot relative to the base to extend away from a surface on which the base is positioned; and an extension coupled to the main body and configured to rotate relative to the main body, wherein the extension comprises a second track along which the toy vehicle may travel, the extension is configured to extend along the main body in a first configuration of the toy vehicle carrier, and the extension is configured to extend away from the main body in a second configuration of the toy vehicle to align the first track of the main body with the second track of the extension.

31 . The toy vehicle carrier of claim 30 , wherein an end of the main body includes an outlet configured to expel the toy vehicle from the interior, and the extension is coupled to the main body at the end.

32 . The toy vehicle carrier of claim 30 , comprising a handle coupled to the main body at the first track.

33 . The toy vehicle carrier of claim 32 , wherein the extension comprises an opening configured to receive the handle.

34 . The toy vehicle carrier of claim 30 , wherein the first track comprises a first lane along which the toy vehicle may travel and a second lane along which an additional toy vehicle may travel.

35 . The toy vehicle carrier of claim 30 , wherein the second track forms an exit at a tip of the extension to eject the toy vehicle from the toy vehicle carrier.

         36 . A toy vehicle carrier, comprising:
a head configured to receive a toy vehicle; a main body coupled to the head and comprising an interior configured to store the toy vehicle; and a base coupled to the main body, wherein the main body is configured to rotate away from the base to lift the head relative to the base, and the main body is configured to rotate toward the base to lower the head relative to the base.

37 . The toy vehicle carrier of claim 36 , wherein the interior of the main body is configured to receive the toy vehicle from the head.
