Adjustable hand shovel guide

Abstract

An adjustable shovel guide for a hand shovel includes an apparatus along a side edge of the hand shovel, the apparatus includes a_plate mount removably attached to a blade of the hand shovel along a blade front face and a blade back face between a blade lower surface and a blade upper surface for a first adjustment, a guide plate is removably attached to each of the plate mount, the guide plate has at least one through passage for a second adjustment, an adjustable wear guide slidably is attached to the guide plate for a third adjustment, and the adjustable shovel guide includes guide wheel attachment, further a method of adjustment is provided.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An apparatus for an adjustment of a shovel blade for a hand shovel, apparatus comprising:
 a guide plate abutting to a mount with the mount removably connected with a shovel blade edge, with the shovel blade having a leading edge separate from the shovel blade edge;   the guide plate having a movement, a reposition of the mount along the shovel blade edge provides for the movement of the guide plate along the shovel blade edge; and   the guide plate having a plurality of positions with respect to the shovel blade.   
     
     
         2 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the movement is between the plurality of positions. 
     
     
         3 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the guide plate has a second movement, the second movement being an adjustment of an angle of the guide plate with respect to the shovel blade, with the second movement having a second plurality of positions of the guide plate. 
     
     
         4 . The apparatus of  claim 3 , wherein the guide plate has one or more through passages, with the one or more through passages being elongated, with the second movement being a movement of the guide plate along the one or more through passages. 
     
     
         5 . The apparatus of  claim 4 , wherein the one or more through passages are extending substantially orthogonal or acute to the shovel blade edge. 
     
     
         6 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the guide plate comprises a base edge. 
     
     
         7 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , further comprising an adjustable block is slidably connected with the guide plate and having a third movement. 
     
     
         8 . The apparatus of  claim 7 , wherein the third movement is a position change of the adjustable block about the guide plate. 
     
     
         9 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein a guide wheel in rotatable attachment with the guide plate, with the guide plate and the guide wheel in a layered relationship from the shovel blade edge. 
     
     
         10 . The apparatus of  claim 9 , wherein the guide wheel provides for an increased movement of the shovel blade. 
     
     
         11 . An apparatus comprising:
 a hand shovel having a shovel blade; and   a wear assembly, comprising:
 at least one mount slidably affixed to a shovel blade edge of the shovel blade, with a leading edge being different from the shovel blade edge; 
 a plate in connection with the at least one mount; 
 a mount adjustment being a position change of the at least one mount along the shovel blade edge for a plurality for positions; and 
 the mount adjustment being a reposition of the plate along the shovel blade. 
   
     
     
         12 . The apparatus of  claim 11 , further comprising the plate having a plate adjustment, with the plate adjustment being an angle of the plate with respect to the shovel blade edge. 
     
     
         13 . The apparatus of  claim 12 , wherein the plate has an elongated passage, with the plate adjustment being a movement of the plate along the elongated passage, with the elongated passage extended substantially orthogonal or acute to the shovel blade edge. 
     
     
         14 . The apparatus of  claim 11 , wherein the plate comprises a base edge. 
     
     
         15 . The apparatus of  claim 11 , further comprising an extension attached to the plate, proximate to the leading edge, and having an extension adjustment, with the extension adjustment being a movement of the extension attached along the plate. 
     
     
         16 . The apparatus of  claim 11 , wherein a guide wheel is attached to the plate, with the guide wheel and plate in layered extension from the shovel blade edge. 
     
     
         17 . A method for adjusting a position of a shovel blade for a hand shovel with respect to a surface, method comprising:
 removably connecting a plate to a shovel blade edge of the shovel blade, with a leading edge separate from the shovel blade edge, the plate comprising:
 at least one mount removably attached to the shovel blade edge; and 
 the plate connected to the at least one mount; 
   causing an adjustment of the at least one mount for a movement of the plate along a length of the shovel blade edge; and   changing a position of the plate with respect to the shovel blade with the adjustment.   
     
     
         18 . The method of  claim 17 , wherein the adjustment allowing for a position manipulation of the plate with respect to the length. 
     
     
         19 . The method of  claim 17 , further comprising promoting a second adjustment, with the second adjustment being a movement of the plate about an angle of the plate with respect to the shovel blade. 
     
     
         20 . The method of  claim 17 , further comprising moving the shovel blade with a guide wheel attached to the plate, with the guide wheel and plate in layered extension from the shovel blade edge.
