Abstract

A pellet dispensing system that includes a holding container having a first opening and a second opening. The first opening is located at a top portion of the holding container allowing for pellets to be loaded into the holding container. The second opening is located at a top, side portion of the holding container allowing for dispensing of the pellet from the holding container. A dispensing ramp is located opposite the second opening of the holding container and pushes a pellet toward the second opening to be dispensed. A lever is located at a bottom portion of the holding container and that moves upwards forcing pellets to move upwards toward the second opening.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A pellet dispensing system, comprising:
 a holding container having a first opening and second opening;
 the first opening located at a top portion of the holding container allowing pellets to be loaded into the holding container;
 the second opening located at a top, side portion of the holding container allowing for dispensing of the pellet from the holding container, wherein a protruding member attached to a bottom surface of the top portion of the holding container is tilted at an acute angle with respect to the top portion of the holding container to direct the pellets towards the second opening;
   a dispensing ramp located opposite the second opening of the holding container and pushes a pellet towards the second opening to be dispensed; a clip that attaches the holding container to a cup such that the second opening is located at a top portion of the cup so that pellets will drop into the cup when dispensed from the second opening; a lever located at a bottom portion of the holding container and moves upwards forcing pellets to move upwards towards the second opening, and a key for opening the top portion of the holding container to load pellets therein.

         2 . (canceled)

         3 . The pellet dispensing system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the dispensing ramp is angled to have a pellet slide towards the second opening and down into the cup.

         4 . The pellet dispensing system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the dispensing ramp forces pellets, being pushed upwards by the lever, towards the second opening.

         5 . The pellet dispensing system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the holding container has an elongated shape allowing for pellets to be stacked vertically.

         6 . The pellet dispensing system as recited as recited in claim 5 , wherein the pellets are sugar pellets

         7 . The pellet dispensing system as recited in claim 1 , wherein when the lever is moved upwards, the pellets in the container are pushed upwards towards the second opening.

         8 . A pellet dispensing method, comprising:
 loading pellets into a holding container having first opening and a second opening, the first opening located at a top portion of the holding container allowing for pellets to be loaded into the holding container, the second opening located at a top, side portion of the holding container allowing for dispensing of the pellet from the holding container, wherein a protruding member attached to a bottom surface of the top portion of the holding container is tilted at an acute angle with respect to the top portion of the holding container to direct the pellets towards the second opening; and moving a lever upwards to push pellets in the holding container upwards towards the second opening, the lever located at a bottom portion of the holding container and wherein said bottom portion of the container moves upwards forcing pellets to move upwards towards the second opening; attaching the holding container to a cup with a clip that attaches the holding container to a cup such that the second opening is located at a top portion of the cup so that pellets will drop into the cup when dispensed from the second opening; wherein a dispensing ramp located opposite the second opening in the holding container pushes a pellet towards the second opening to be dispensed, and wherein a key is used to open the top portion of the holding container when loading pellets.

         9 . (canceled)

         10 . The pellet dispensing method as recited in claim 8 , wherein holding container further includes the dispensing ramp located at the second opening and angled to push a pellet downwards out of the second opening and into the cup.

         11 . The pellet dispensing method as recited in claim 8 , wherein the dispensing ramp forces pellets, being pushed upwards by the lever, towards the second opening.

         12 . The pellet dispensing method as recited in claim 8 , wherein the holding container has an elongated shape allowing for pellets to be stacked vertically.

         13 . The pellet dispensing method as recited in claim 1 , wherein the pellets are sugar pellets

         14 . The pellet dispensing method as recited in claim 1 , wherein when the lever is moved upwards, the pellets in the container are pushed upwards towards the second opening.
