Abstract

A bow string release includes a clip unit and a trigger. The clip unit includes a fork, two jaws, two springs and a roller. Each of the jaws includes an intermediate section pivotally connected to the fork. The first spring is compressed between the first and second jaws to open front ends of the first and second hooks. The roller is connected to a rear end of the first jaw. The second spring is pivotally connected to the fork. The trigger includes a first end extending from the fork, a second end pivotally connected to a rear end of the second jaw, and an intermediate section biased by the second spring. Thus, the intermediate section of the trigger pushes the roller and the lower end of the trigger moves the rear end of the second jaw, thereby moving the front ends of the first and second jaws toward each other.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A bow string release comprising:
 a clip unit ( 30 ) comprising:
 a fork ( 31 );
 a first jaw ( 32 ) comprising a front end, a rear end, and an intermediate section pivotally connected to the fork ( 31 );
 a second jaw ( 33 ) comprising a front end, a rear end, and an intermediate section pivotally connected to the fork ( 31 );
 a first spring ( 34 ) compressed between the first and second jaws ( 32 ,  33 ) to open the front ends ( 321 ,  331 ) of the first and second hooks ( 32 ,  33 );
 a roller ( 35 ) cone ted to the rear end of the first jaw ( 32 ); and
 a second spring ( 36 ) pivotally connected to the fork ( 31 ); and
   a trigger ( 41 ) comprising:
 a first end extending from the fork ( 31 );
 a second end pivotally connected to the rear end of the second jaw ( 33 ), and
 an intermediate section biased by the second spring ( 36 ) so that the intermediate section of the trigger ( 41 ) pushes the roller ( 35 ) and the lower end of the trigger ( 41 ) moves the rear end of the second jaw ( 33 ), thereby moving the front ends ( 321 , 331 ) of the first and second jaws ( 32 , 33 ) toward each other.

         2 . The bow string release according to  claim 1 , wherein the first jaw ( 32 ) comprises a hemi-sphere ( 324 ), wherein the second jaw ( 33 ) comprises a hemi-spherical cavity ( 334 ) for receiving the hemi-sphere ( 324 ).

         3 . The bow string release according to  claim 1 , comprising a connector unit ( 20 ) comprising a threaded bolt ( 22 ) connected to a wrist unit ( 10 ) and a cylinder ( 21 ) for receiving a head ( 221 ) of the threaded bolt ( 22 ).

         4 . The bow string release according to  claim 3 , wherein the fork ( 31 ) comprises a chamber ( 311 ) for receiving the cylinder ( 21 ).

         5 . The bow string release according to  claim 1 , comprising a skid-proof element ( 50 ) connected to the fork ( 31 ).

         6 . The bow string release according to  claim 1 , wherein each of the first and second jaws ( 32 ,  33 ) comprises a bore ( 323 ,  333 ) for receiving an end of the first spring ( 34 ).

         7 . The bow string release according to  claim 1 , wherein the first jaw ( 32 ) comprises a recess ( 322 ) in a rear end to receive the roller ( 35 ).

         8 . The bow string release according to claim 1 , wherein the second jaw ( 33 ) comprises a recess ( 332 ) in a rear end to receive the second end of the trigger ( 40 ).

         9 . The bow string release according to  claim 1 , wherein the trigger ( 41 ) comprises a cutout ( 411 ) for receiving the roller ( 35 ).

         10 . The bow string release according to claim 1 , comprising an adjustment element ( 42 ) movably connected to the trigger ( 41 ) and abutted against the roller ( 35 ).

         11 . The bow string release according to  claim 1 , wherein the adjustment element ( 42 ) is a threaded rod, wherein the trigger ( 41 ) comprises a screw hole ( 412 ) for receiving the threaded rod ( 42 ).
