Abstract
A laundry treating appliance includes a cabinet defining an interior. A drum is located within the interior and defines a treating chamber. The laundry treating appliance includes a recirculation circuit including a recirculation pump having an inlet and an outlet. The laundry treating appliance further includes a bulk treating chemistry dispenser. A method for rinsing or cleaning the bulk treating chemistry dispenser can be included.

1 . A household cleaning appliance, comprising:
a cabinet including an access opening and a bulk dispenser opening, the cabinet defining a cabinet interior; a treating chamber located within the interior and accessible via the access opening; a recirculation circuit including a recirculation pump having a pump inlet and a pump outlet, the recirculation pump fluidly coupled to the treating chamber; and a bulk treating chemistry assembly comprising:
a dispenser housing defining a receptacle;
a cartridge assembly selectively receivable in the receptacle, the cartridge assembly having multiple bulk reservoirs including a first housing defining a first bulk treating chemistry reservoir and having a first bulk outlet and a second housing defining a second bulk treating chemistry reservoir and having a second bulk outlet;
a closure moveable between an opened position wherein at least a portion of the receptacle is accessible and a closed position wherein the bulk dispenser opening is closed; and
a treating chemistry meter selectively fluidly coupling the cartridge assembly to the treating chamber.
2 . The household cleaning appliance of claim 1 , wherein the cartridge assembly further comprises a third housing defining a third bulk treating chemistry reservoir.
3 . The household cleaning appliance of claim 1 , wherein the first bulk treating chemistry reservoir has a first volume and the second bulk treating chemistry reservoir has a second volume and the first volume is different than the second volume.
4 . The household cleaning appliance of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first housing or the second housing is contoured to form a handle.
5 . The household cleaning appliance of claim 1 , wherein the first housing is separable from the second housing upon removal from the receptacle.
6 . The household cleaning appliance of claim 1 , wherein the first housing comprises a moveable lid to provide access to the first bulk treating chemistry reservoir.
7 . The household cleaning appliance of claim 1 , wherein the household cleaning appliance is a laundry treating appliance.
8 . The household cleaning appliance of claim 1 , wherein the first housing comprises a first alignment feature and wherein the dispenser housing comprises a second alignment feature having a complimentary profile with the first alignment feature.
9 . The household cleaning appliance of claim 1 , wherein the dispenser housing is one of coupled to a drawer or forms a portion of a drawer and wherein the drawer is configured to be moveable between an opened position and a closed position, where the drawer is within the cabinet.
10 . The household cleaning appliance of claim 9 , wherein the closure is operably coupled to the drawer or formed with the drawer.
11 . The household cleaning appliance of claim 1 , further comprising a first treating chemistry within the first bulk treating chemistry reservoir a second treating chemistry within the second bulk treating chemistry reservoir and wherein the first treating chemistry is different from the second treating chemistry.
12 . The household cleaning appliance of claim 11 , further comprising a controller configured to implement an automatic cleaning cycle within the treating chamber and wherein the controller is operably coupled to the treating chemistry meter to control dosing of the first treating chemistry, dosing of the second treating chemistry, or dosing of both the first treating chemistry and the second treating chemistry during the automatic cleaning cycle.
13 . The household cleaning appliance of claim 12 , wherein a content or a type of at least one of the first treating chemistry, the second treating chemistry, or a combination thereof is a user-selectable variable that can be input into the controller via a user interface or a predefined parameter.
14 . The household cleaning appliance of claim 12 , further comprising a water supply selectively fluidly coupled to an output of the treating chemistry meter to dispense the first treating chemistry, the second treating chemistry, or both the first treating chemistry and the second treating chemistry into the treating chamber during the automatic cleaning cycle.
15 . The household cleaning appliance of claim 12 , wherein the treating chemistry meter is configured to operate multiple times during the automatic cleaning cycle.
16 . The household cleaning appliance of claim 11 , wherein the treating chemistry meter comprises a first treating chemistry meter fluidly coupled to the first bulk outlet and configured to selectively dispense the first treating chemistry and a second treating chemistry meter fluidly coupled to the second bulk outlet and configured to selectively dispense the second treating chemistry.
17 . The household cleaning appliance of claim 16 , wherein the first treating chemistry meter and the second treating chemistry meter are configured to dispense at different times during an automatic cleaning cycle.
18 . The household cleaning appliance of claim 16 , further comprising a controller configured to implement an automatic cleaning cycle within the treating chamber and wherein the controller is operably coupled to the first treating chemistry meter and the second treating chemistry meter to control dosing of the first treating chemistry, dosing of the second treating chemistry, or dosing of both the first treating chemistry and the second treating chemistry during the automatic cleaning cycle.
19 . The household cleaning appliance of claim 18 , wherein a content or a type of at least one of the first treating chemistry, the second treating chemistry, or a combination thereof is a predefined parameter or a user-selectable variable that can be input into the controller via a user interface.
