Shisha, heat-not-burn, or combustion casing, product, and method of making the same

Abstract

A shisha, heat-not-burn, or combustion product casing with or without an active ingredient, a shisha, heat-not-burn, or a combustion product including a casing or a method of making the same are disclose herein.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A shisha, heat-not-burn, or combustion product, comprising:
 a substrate; and   a casing, comprising:
 an active ingredient in an amount up to 33% by weight of the casing; 
 glycerine in an amount of 4% to 78% by weight of the casing; 
 corn syrup in an amount of 8% to 80% by weight of the casing; 
 propylene glycol in an amount of 5% to 84% by weight of the casing; and 
 one or more flavor additives comprising benzaldehyde, isoamyl hexanoate, phenyl ethyl phenylacetate, ethyl caproate, or combinations thereof. 
   
     
     
         2 . The product of  claim 1 , wherein the casing further comprises one or more preservatives in an amount of approximately 0.1 to 20% by weight of the casing. 
     
     
         3 . The product of  claim 2 , wherein the one or more preservatives comprise citric acid, sodium benzoate, sodium bicarbonate, potassium sorbate, propylparaben, butylated hydroxyanisole, butylated hydroxytoluene, rosemary extract, or combinations thereof. 
     
     
         4 . The product of  claim 2 , further comprising one or more first additives in an amount of approximately 0.00001 to 99% by weight of the casing. 
     
     
         5 . The product of  claim 4 , wherein the one or more first additives comprise water, fructose crystalline, vanillin, molasses, cyclotene, maltol, ethyl vanillin, ethyl maltol, ethanol, benzyl alcohol, triacetin, or combinations thereof. 
     
     
         6 . The product of  claim 1 , wherein the casing further comprises methyl phenylacetate. 
     
     
         7 . The product  claim 1 , wherein the active ingredient comprises one or more of nicotine, tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA), tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), cannabidiolic acid (CBDA), cannabidivarin (CBDV), cannabidiol (CBD), cannabinol (CBN) cannabigerol (CBG), cannabichromene (CBC), tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV), or combinations thereof. 
     
     
         8 . The product of  claim 1 , wherein the substrate comprises one or more of reconstituted cocoa husks fibers, tea fibers, mango fibers, guava fibers, hemp, tobacco, fruit, a cellulosic material, or combinations thereof. 
     
     
         9 . A shisha, heat-not-burn, or combustion product, comprising:
 a substrate; and   a casing, comprising:
 an active ingredient in an amount up to 33% by weight of the casing; 
 glycerine in an amount of 4% to 78% by weight of the casing; 
 corn syrup in an amount of 8% to 80% by weight of the casing; 
 propylene glycol in an amount of 5% to 84% by weight of the casing; and 
 one or more preservatives in an amount of approximately 0.1 to 20% by weight of the casing. 
   
     
     
         10 . The product of  claim 9 , wherein the one or more preservatives comprise one or more of citric acid, sodium benzoate, sodium bicarbonate, potassium sorbate, propylparaben, butylated hydroxyanisole, butylated hydroxytoluene, rosemary extract, or combinations thereof. 
     
     
         11 . The product of  claim 9 , further comprising one or more first additives in an amount of approximately 0.00001 to 99% by weight of the casing. 
     
     
         12 . The product of  claim 11 , wherein the one or more first additives comprise one or more of water, fructose crystalline, vanillin, molasses, cyclotene, maltol, ethyl vanillin, ethyl maltol, ethanol, benzyl alcohol, triacetin, or combinations thereof. 
     
     
         13 . The product of  claim 9 , wherein the casing further comprises methyl phenylacetate. 
     
     
         14 . The product  claim 9 , wherein the active ingredient comprises one or more of nicotine, tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA), tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), cannabidiolic acid (CBDA), cannabidivarin (CBDV), cannabidiol (CBD), cannabinol (CBN) cannabigerol (CBG), cannabichromene (CBC), tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV), or combinations thereof. 
     
     
         15 . The product of  claim 9 , wherein the substrate comprises one or more of reconstituted cocoa husks fibers, tea fibers, mango fibers, guava fibers, hemp, tobacco, fruit, a cellulosic material, or combinations thereof. 
     
     
         16 . A shisha, heat-not-burn, or combustion product casing composition, comprising:
 an active ingredient in an amount up to 33% by weight of the casing composition;   glycerine in an amount of 4% to 78% by weight of the casing composition;   corn syrup in an amount of 8% to 80% by weight of the casing composition;   propylene glycol in an amount of 5% to 84% by weight of the casing composition; and   one or more flavor additives comprising benzaldehyde, isoamyl hexanoate, phenyl ethyl phenylacetate, ethyl caproate, or combinations thereof.   
     
     
         17 . The casing composition of  claim 16 , further comprising one or more of fructose crystalline, vanillin, molasses, cyclotene, maltol, ethyl vanillin, ethyl maltol, ethanol, benzyl alcohol, triacetin, or combinations thereof. 
     
     
         18 . The casing composition of  claim 17 , further comprising one or more of benzaldehyde, isoamyl hexanoate, phenyl ethyl phenylacetate, ethyl caproate, or combinations thereof. 
     
     
         19 . A method of making a shisha, heat-not-burn, or combustion product, comprising:
 adding the casing composition of  claim 16  to a substrate; and   allowing the substrate to absorb the casing composition.   
     
     
         20 . The method of  claim 19 , further comprising:
 mixing or tumbling the casing composition with the substrate.
