Lift conduit bender handle
Abstract
A lift conduit bender handle for use with a conduit bender for bending a workpiece is disclosed. The lift conduit bender handle includes a bracket having two plates in quadrant configuration facing each other. Each plate includes holes. Further, the lift conduit bender handle inserts through the bracket and connects to the holes with the help of handrails while being positioned at a desired angle. The handle further includes a handle bracket. The handle bracket includes a set screw for tightening the handle. The handle connects to a bender head of a conduit bender. The bender head includes a conduit-receiving groove for receiving a workpiece or conduit or pipe. The lift conduit bender handle applies force on the workpiece around the bender head such that the workpiece gets sandwiched and the workpiece is forced to take the shape of the conduit-receiving groove.

2 . A lift conduit bender handle for bending a workpiece, said lift conduit bender handle comprising:
a conduit bender, said conduit bender comprising:
a bender head; and
a conduit-receiving groove positioned at said bender head; and
a bracket, comprising:
a plurality of holes, wherein said plurality of holes is formed in an arc-like structure;
at least one handrail; and
a handle, wherein said handle is aligned with a hole of said holes, wherein said at least one handrail is drawn through said hole for locking said handle at an angle with respect to said bracket,
wherein said handle connects to said bender head; wherein said conduit-receiving groove receives a workpiece, and wherein said handle is pivoted such that force is applied on said workpiece via said bender head for bending said workpiece placed in said conduit-receiving groove.
3 . The lift conduit bender handle of claim 2 , wherein said bracket comprises plates for receiving said handle therethrough, and wherein said plates have quadrant-like structure.
4 . The lift conduit bender handle of claim 2 , further comprises a handle bracket, wherein said handle bracket comprises a lever and a screw for tightening said handle to said bracket.
5 . The lift conduit bender handle of claim 4 , wherein said handle bracket positions substantially perpendicularly to said handle.
6 . The lift conduit bender handle of claim 2 , wherein said handle comprises a threaded portion.
7 . The lift conduit bender handle of claim 6 , wherein said bender head comprises a neck portion, and wherein said threaded portion inserts in said neck portion to connect said handle to said bender head.
8 . The lift conduit bender handle of claim 2 , wherein said bender head has an arcuate configuration.
9 . The lift conduit bender handle of claim 8 , wherein said bender head configures to bend said workpiece between 10 to 60 degrees via said conduit-receiving groove.
10 . The lift conduit bender handle of claim 2 , wherein said bender head comprises a foot press and a holding clamp for holding said workpiece within said conduit-receiving groove.
11 . A lift conduit bender handle for bending a workpiece, said lift conduit bender handle comprising:
a conduit bender, said conduit bender comprising:
a bender head, wherein said bender head has an arcuate configuration; and
a conduit-receiving groove positioned at said bender head; and
a bracket, comprising: a plurality of holes, wherein said plurality of holes is formed in an arc-like structure;
at least one handrail; and
a handle, wherein said handle is aligned with a hole of said holes, wherein said at least one handrail is drawn through said hole for locking said handle at an angle with respect to said bracket,
wherein said handle connects to said bender head; wherein said conduit-receiving groove receives a workpiece, and wherein said handle is pivoted such that force is applied on said workpiece via said bender head for bending said workpiece placed in said conduit-receiving groove between 10 to 60 degrees via said conduit-receiving groove.
12 . The lift conduit bender handle of claim 11 , wherein said bracket comprises plates for receiving said handle therethrough, and wherein said plates have quadrant-like structure.
13 . The lift conduit bender handle of claim 11 , further comprises a handle bracket, wherein said handle bracket comprises a lever and a screw for tightening said handle to said bracket.
14 . The lift conduit bender handle of claim 13 , wherein said handle bracket positions substantially perpendicularly to said handle.
15 . The lift conduit bender handle of claim 11 , wherein said handle comprises a threaded portion.
16 . The lift conduit bender handle of claim 15 , wherein said bender head comprises a neck portion, and wherein said threaded portion inserts in said neck portion to connect said handle to said bender head.
17 . The lift conduit bender handle of claim 11 , wherein said bender head comprises a foot press and a holding clamp for holding said workpiece within said conduit-receiving groove.
18 . A method of providing a lift conduit bender handle for bending a workpiece, said method comprising the steps of:
providing a bender head; providing a conduit-receiving groove positioned at said bender head;
providing a bracket comprising a plurality of holes, said plurality of holes is formed in an arc-like structure;
providing a handrail;
providing a handle, said handle aligned with a hole of said holes, said handrail is drawn through said hole for locking said handle at an angle with respect to said bracket;
connecting said handle to said bender head;
receiving a workpiece in said conduit-receiving groove; and
pivoting said handle such that force is applied on said workpiece via said bender head for bending said workpiece placed in said conduit-receiving groove.
19 . The method of claim 18 , further comprising providing a handle bracket having a lever and a screw for tightening said handle to said bracket.
20 . The method of claim 18 , further comprising providing said bender head in an arcuate configuration.
