Abstract
A nozzle for a cleaner has a nozzle housing, which has a nozzle base and a drain hole for discharging water from the nozzle housing. The nozzle also has a rotary cleaning unit disposed below the nozzle housing. The rotary cleaning unit has a rotation plate that can be attached to a mop. The nozzle has a driving unit that includes a driving motor for driving the rotary cleaning unit. The nozzle also has a control board for controlling the drive motor. In addition, the nozzle has a water tank detachably mounted on an upper side of the nozzle housing. The water tank stores water and supplies the water to the rotary cleaning unit.

1 . A nozzle for a cleaner comprising:
a nozzle housing including a nozzle base and a nozzle cover coupled to an upper side of the nozzle base; a suction flow path provided in the nozzle housing to suck air containing dust; a connection tube connected to a rear portion of the nozzle housing to guide a suctioned air to the cleaner; a rotary cleaning unit rotatably disposed below the nozzle base and including a plurality of rotation plates spaced apart from each other in a lateral direction of the nozzle housing, the plurality of rotation plates being configured to be attached to a mop; a driving unit provided in the nozzle housing and including a driving motor for driving the plurality of rotation plates; a water tank provided on the nozzle housing and configured to store water to be supplied to the plurality of rotation plates; and a control board provided in the nozzle housing for controlling the driving unit or an amount of water discharged from the water tank, wherein the nozzle base includes a pair of supporting ribs extending to a rear of the nozzle base and spaced apart from each other in a left-right direction to support the connection tube in the left-right direction, and wherein, when water falls to the connection tube, the pair of supporting ribs is configured to guide the water to flow into a space between the pair of supporting ribs.
2 . The nozzle of claim 1 , wherein the pair of supporting ribs has curved surfaces facing each other.
3 . The nozzle of claim 2 , wherein the pair of supporting ribs are formed to round downward.
4 . The nozzle of claim 1 , wherein the nozzle base further includes a blocking wall for preventing the water from flowing toward the control board.
5 . The nozzle of claim 4 , wherein the blocking wall is arranged in front of the pair of supporting ribs and is located below a flow path forming portion defining the suction flow path.
6 . The nozzle of claim 4 , wherein the blocking wall is positioned closer to the suction flow path from the pair of supporting ribs.
7 . The nozzle of claim 1 , wherein the nozzle cover includes:
an opening for the adjusting unit to pass through; and a supporting portion that supports the adjusting unit.
8 . The nozzle of claim 7 , wherein the supporting portion slidably supports the adjusting unit penetrating the opening.
9 . The nozzle of claim 7 , wherein a gap is formed between the supporting portion and a wall of the nozzle cover.
10 . The nozzle of claim 1 , wherein the nozzle base includes an outer wall for blocking a flow to the control board, and
wherein the outer wall is provided at a position spaced inwardly from an end portion of the nozzle base and may extend along a portion of a circumference of the nozzle base.
11 . The nozzle of claim 10 , wherein the outer wall is spaced apart from a wall of the nozzle cover when the nozzle cover is seated on the nozzle base.
12 . The nozzle of claim 11 , wherein a gap between a supporting portion supporting the adjusting unit and the nozzle cover is positioned to face a portion between the outer wall and the nozzle base.
13 . The nozzle of claim 11 , wherein the outer wall is disposed between the control board and the end portion of the nozzle base.
14 . The nozzle of claim 13 , wherein an upper portion of the outer wall is disposed higher than an upper surface of the control board.
15 . The nozzle of claim 1 , wherein a drain hole is formed in the nozzle base and is configured so that leaked water flowing into the nozzle housing is discharged to an outside, and
wherein a blocking rib is positioned behind the drain hole.
16 . The nozzle of claim 15 , wherein the drain hole is positioned between the suction flow path and the rotary cleaning units, and
wherein the leaked water discharged through the drain hole drops to a floor to be cleaned by the mop.
17 . The nozzle of claim 16 , wherein the drain hole is disposed higher than the rotation plate.
