Box for transferring items into a carton

Abstract

Transfer box (1) for articles in a carton comprising a bottom wall (2) slidable between an extended position closing the bottom of the transfer box (1) and a retracted position, a drive means (10) for the bottom wall (2), two opposite side walls (3, 4), the bottom wall (2) being slidable along one of the side walls (3, 4) by actuation of the drive means (10) from the extended position to the retracted position.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A transfer box for transferring articles into a carton, the transfer box being adapted to be inserted into the carton for depositing articles simultaneously, without dropping, at the bottom of the carton, said transfer box comprising: a bottom wall able to slide between a deployed position closing the bottom of the transfer box and a withdrawn position, a drive means for the bottom wall, two opposite side walls, the bottom wall being able to slide along one of the side walls by actuating the drive means to move from the deployed position to the withdrawn position. 
     
     
         2 . The transfer box according to  claim 1 , wherein the one of the side walls comprises a reservation space delimited by an inner plate and an outer plate. 
     
     
         3 . The transfer box according to  claim 1 , wherein the drive means comprises a withdrawal means and a return means each secured to a longitudinal end of the bottom wall. 
     
     
         4 . The transfer box according to  claim 1 , wherein the drive means comprises a connecting means attached to a longitudinal end of the bottom wall. 
     
     
         5 . The transfer box according to  claim 1 , further comprising means for actuating the drive means. 
     
     
         6 . The transfer box according to  claim 1 , wherein the bottom wall is flexible or articulated. 
     
     
         7 . The transfer box according to  claim 1 , further comprising a front wall and/or a rear wall adjacent to the one of the side walls, and able to adopt a closed position and an open position for the lateral loading of articles. 
     
     
         8 . The transfer box according to  claim 1 , wherein the drive means is a rotary drive means or a linear drive means of the bottom wall. 
     
     
         9 . The transfer box according to  claim 1 , wherein the drive means comprises a drive roller connected to a connecting means secured to a longitudinal end of the bottom wall. 
     
     
         10 . The transfer box according to  claim 1 , wherein the drive means comprises a connecting means connecting each of longitudinal ends of the bottom wall, a bar connecting upper ends of the side walls and a slider slidably mounted on the bar, the slider being secured to the connecting means.
