Abstract

A device for producing an oil pan and an oil pan arrangement are disclosed. An oil pan underside has a bottom and an all-round sidewall arranged to form a leakproof hollow space. A partition wall divides the hollow space into a suction space for forming a suction opening and an outflow space for outflow of oil along an outflow direction. The partition wall defines fluid openings for oil to flow from the suction space to the outflow space. A filter element and/or sieve element is integrated in the outflow space to filter the oil. A supporting grid is above the filter element and/or sieve element and is attached to an inside of the sidewall to fix the filter element and/or sieve element between the supporting grid and the oil pan bottom. The oil pan underside can be fixed to a corresponding wall as the upper side of the oil pan.

. The device ( 1 , 1 a , 1 b ) according to claim 1 , wherein the supporting grid ( 11 ) is attached to the inside of the sidewall ( 4 ) with interlock.

. The device ( 1 , 1 a , 1 b ) according to claim 2 , wherein the supporting grid ( 11 ) is welded to the inside of the sidewall ( 4 ).

. The device ( 1 , 1 a , 1 b ) according to claim 1 , wherein the filter element ( 10 ) and/or sieve element spans across the whole of the outflow space ( 8 ) so that all of the oil flows through the filter element ( 10 ) and/or sieve element as it flows out.

. The device ( 1 , 1 a , 1 b ) according to claim 1 , wherein the fastening means on the outside of the sidewall ( 4 ) comprise holding elements ( 12 ) that project in an axial direction (A) and sleeves ( 13 ) that pass through the holding elements ( 12 ) in a vertical direction (V), so that by way of the sleeves ( 13 ) the oil pan underside ( 2 ) can be fixed to the wall by means of fastening elements.

. The device ( 1 , 1 a , 1 b ) according to claim 5 , wherein the holding elements ( 12 ) and the oil pan underside ( 2 ), the sidewall ( 4 ), and the partition wall ( 5 ) are made integrally as one piece.

. The device ( 1 , 1 a , 1 b ) according to claim 6 , wherein the holding elements ( 12 ) and the oil pan underside ( 2 ), the sidewall ( 4 ), and the partition wall ( 5 ) are made of plastic.

. The device ( 1 , 1 a , 1 b ) according to claim 1 , wherein the sidewall ( 4 ) and also the partition wall ( 5 ) comprise in the direction of the wall a groove and a seal ( 14 ) such that the seal ( 14 ) can be fitted into the groove so as to form a seal.

. The device ( 1 , 1 a , 1 b ) according to claim 1 , further comprising honeycomb-like ribs ( 7 a , 7 b , 7 c , 7 d ) arranged on an outside of the oil pan bottom ( 3 ).
