Abstract

A packaging device ( 12 a - b ), in particular a closing device, includes a carrier unit ( 14 a - b ) for receiving at least one packaging material store ( 16 a - b ), which is configured for moving the packaging material store ( 16 a - b ) from a working position ( 20 a - b ) into a refilling position ( 26 a - b ) by a first movement ( 28 a - b ) and at least one subsequent second movement ( 30 a - b ). The carrier unit ( 14 a - b ) is configured for moving the packaging material store ( 16 a - b ) from the working position ( 20 a - b ) into the refilling position ( 26 a - b ) by a subsequent third movement ( 32 a - b ), the third movement ( 32 a - b ) being a movement along a height direction ( 70 a - b ). The packaging material store ( 16 a - b ) is realized as a packaging material magazine and is configured for accommodating several packaging materials.

1 . A packaging device ( 12   a - b ) comprising:
 a carrier unit ( 14   a - b ) for receiving at least one packaging material store ( 16   a - b ), which is configured for moving the at least one packaging material store ( 16   a - b ) from a working position ( 20   a - b ) into a refilling position ( 26   a - b ) by a first movement ( 28   a - b ) and at least one subsequent second movement ( 30   a - b ),   wherein the carrier unit ( 14   a - b ) is configured for moving the at least one packaging material store ( 16   a - b ) from the working position ( 20   a - b ) into the refilling position ( 26   a - b ) by a subsequent third movement ( 32   a - b ), the third movement ( 32   a - b ) being a movement along a height direction ( 70   a - b ),   wherein the at least one packaging material store ( 16   a - b ) is realized as a packaging material magazine and is configured to accommodate a plurality of packaging materials.   
     
     
         2 . The packaging device ( 12   a - b ) according to  claim 1 , wherein the third movement ( 32   a - b ) comprises a translational movement. 
     
     
         3 . The packaging device ( 12   a - b ) according to  claim 1 , wherein the first movement ( 28   a - b ) and the third movement ( 32   a - b ) run at least substantially antiparallel. 
     
     
         4 . The packaging device ( 12   a - b ) according to  claim 1 , wherein an overall movement of the at least one packaging material store ( 16   a - b ) between the working position ( 20   a - b ) and the refilling position ( 26   a - b ) is at least substantially U-shaped. 
     
     
         5 . The packaging device ( 12   b ) according to the preamble of  claim 1 , further comprising at least one further packaging material store ( 18   b ), which is reversibly connectable at least to the carrier unit ( 14   b ). 
     
     
         6 . The packaging device ( 12   b ) according to  claim 5 , wherein the at least one further packaging material store ( 18   b ) is reversibly connectable to the at least one packaging material store ( 16   b ). 
     
     
         7 . The packaging device ( 12   b ) according to  claim 5 , wherein the at least one further packaging material store ( 18   b ) is movable into the refilling position ( 26   b ) by means of the carrier unit ( 14   b ). 
     
     
         8 . The packaging device ( 12   a - b ) according to  claim 1 , wherein the second movement ( 30   a - b ) is a movement along a width direction ( 72   a - b ). 
     
     
         9 . A packaging machine ( 10   a - b ) with a packaging device ( 12   a - b ) according to  claim 1 . 
     
     
         10 . A filling system ( 50   a - b ), comprising a packaging machine ( 10   a - b ) according to  claim 9 .

The filling system ( 50   b ) according to  claim 10 , further comprising a transport unit ( 62   b ) for receiving the at least one packaging material store ( 16   b ) and/or an at least one further packaging material store ( 18   b ) and for a transport of the at least one packaging material store ( 16   b ) and/or the at least one further packaging material store ( 18   b ) to the refilling position ( 26   b ).

A method for operating a packaging device ( 12   a - b ) comprising at least one packaging material store ( 16   a - b ) which is moved from a working position ( 20   a - b ) into a refilling position ( 26   a - b ) by a first movement ( 28   a - b ) and at least one subsequent second movement ( 30   a - b ), wherein the at least one packaging material store ( 16   a - b ) is moved from the working position ( 20   a - b ) into the refilling position ( 26   a - b ) by a subsequent third movement ( 32   a - b ), the third movement ( 32   a - b ) being a movement along a height direction ( 70   a - b ), wherein several packaging materials are accommodated in the at least one packaging material store ( 16   a - b ). 
     
     
         13 . The method according to  claim 12 , wherein the at least one packaging material store ( 16   a - b ) is configured as a packaging material magazine. 
     
     
         14 . The packaging machine ( 10   a - b ) according to  claim 9 , wherein the packing machine is a closing machine. 
     
     
         15 . The filling system ( 50   a - b ) according to  claim 10 , wherein the filling system is a food product filling system.
