Release liner for mailer packages
Abstract
The present disclosure is directed to one or more embodiments of mailer package assemblies including a fixed release liner and a mailer package. The fixed release liner is removably or detachably coupled to the mailer package by an adhesive layer. The fixed release liner includes one or more wickets (e.g., openings) such that the fixed release liner may be mounted to a wall by inserting fasteners (e.g., tack(s), pin(s), etc.) into the openings. The mailer package may be removed, detached, or decoupled from the fixed release liner by pulling on the mailer package decoupling the fixed release liner from the mailer package. After the mailer package is removed, an packaging associate may place an item or product within the mailer package to be shipped to a consumer. After the mailer package is removed from the fixed release liner, the fixed release liner remains mounted to the wall.

stationarily mounting a stack of mailer packages to a surface, the stack including a plurality of stacked release liners fixedly coupled to each other and a plurality of mailer package, each of the mailer packages of the plurality of mailers packages is removably coupled to a corresponding release liner of the plurality of stacked release liners; placing an item within a cavity of a first mailer package of the plurality of stacked mailer packages through an opening in the first mailer package of the plurality of stacked mailer packages; decoupling the first mailer package of the plurality of mailer packages from a first release liner of the plurality of stacked release liners; and sealing the opening of the first mailer package by applying pressure to an adhesive layer on the first mailer package sealing the item within the first mailer package.
14 . The method of claim 13 , wherein placing the item within the cavity of the first mailer package occurs after the first mailer package of the plurality of stacked mailer packages has been decoupled from the first release liner of the plurality of stacked release liners.
15 . The method of claim 13 , wherein placing the item within the cavity of the first mailer package occurs before the first mailer package of the plurality of stacked mailer packages has been decoupled from the first release liner of the plurality of stacked release liners.
16 . The method of claim 13 , further comprising:
placing an item within a cavity of a second mailer package of the plurality of stacked mailer packages through an opening in the second mailer package of the plurality of stacked mailer packages; decoupling the second mailer package of the plurality of mailer packages from a second release liner of the plurality of stacked release liners; and sealing the opening of the second mailer package by applying pressure to an adhesive layer on the second mailer package sealing the item within the second mailer package.
17 . The method of claim 13 , wherein stationarily mounting the stack of mailer packages to the surface further includes inserting a fastener into one or more holes extending through the plurality of stacked release liners.
18 . The method of claim 13 , wherein decoupling the first mailer package of the plurality of stacked mailer packages from the first release linear of the plurality of stacked release liners by decoupling a closure flap of the first mailer package from the first release liner.
19 . The method of claim 18 , wherein sealing the opening of the first mailer package further includes sealing the closure flap of the first mailer package to an external surface of the first mailer package.
20 . The method of claim 19 , wherein the adhesive layer is on the closure flap.
21 . The method of claim 20 , wherein the adhesive layer couples the closure flap of the first mailer package to the first release liner.
22 . The method of claim 21 , wherein decoupling the closure flap of the first mailer package from the first release liner further includes exposing the adhesive layer on the closure flap.
23 . The method of claim 22 , wherein, once the first mailer package is decoupled from the first release liner, at least a portion of the adhesive layer remains present on the closure flap configured to, in operation, be utilized to seal the closure flap to the external surface of the first mailer package.
24 . The method of claim 13 , wherein decoupling the first mailer package of the plurality of stacked mailer packages from the first release liner of the plurality of stacked release liners includes pulling on the first mailer package.
25 . A device, comprising:
a plurality of stacked release liners, wherein the stacked release liners are fixedly coupled to one another in a stacked configuration; a plurality of stacked mailer packages, wherein each of the mailer packages is removably coupled to a corresponding stacked release liner of the plurality of stacked release liners, and the stacked release liners remain in the stacked configuration even when one or more of the plurality of stacked mailer packages are and have been removed from one or more of the plurality of stacked release liners; and wherein the plurality of stacked release liners are detachably coupled the plurality of stacked mailer packages by a plurality of adhesive layers, and each respective adhesive layer of the plurality of adhesive layers removably couples one of the plurality of stacked mailer packages to the corresponding stacked release liner of the plurality of stacked release liners.
26 . The device of claim 25 , wherein each respective adhesive layer of the plurality of adhesive layers is configured to, in operation, seal a corresponding opening of a corresponding mailer package of the plurality of stacked mailer packages after the corresponding mailer package of the plurality of stacked mailer packages has been removed from the corresponding stacked release liner of the plurality of stacked release liners.
27 . The device of claim 25 , wherein each respective adhesive layer of the plurality of adhesive layers is on a corresponding closure flap of a plurality of closure flaps of the plurality of stacked mailer packages.
28 . The device of claim 27 , wherein each respective adhesive layer of the plurality of adhesive layers is configured to, in operation, seal the corresponding closure flap to an external surface of a corresponding mailer package of the plurality of stacked mailer packages.
29 . The device of claim 25 , further comprising a plurality of holes that extend through the plurality of stacked release liners, wherein the plurality of holes are configured to, in operation, stationarily mount the stacked release liners to a structure.
30 . The device of claim 25 , wherein the plurality of stacked release liners are fixedly coupled together by one or more weld regions.
31 . A device, comprising:
a plurality of stacked release liners that are stacked on one another, the plurality of stacked release liners including:
one or more holes extending through the plurality of stacked release liners, the one or more holes are configured to, in operation, receive a fastener to hold the plurality of stacked release liners in place relative to a structure to which the plurality of stacked release liners are mounted to utilizing the fastener;
a plurality of stacked mailer packages, wherein each of the mailer packages is removably coupled to a corresponding stacked release liner of the plurality of stacked release liners, and the stacked release liners remain in a stacked configuration even when one or more of the plurality of stacked mailer packages are and have been removed from one or more of the plurality of stacked release liners, and wherein the plurality of stacked release liners are detachably coupled the plurality of stacked mailer packages by a plurality of adhesive layers, and each respective adhesive layer of the plurality of adhesive layers removably couples one of the plurality of stacked mailer packages to the corresponding stacked release liner of the plurality of stacked release liners.
