Vaporizer Mouthpiece With No Inner Structure

Abstract

A vaporizer cartridge with an improved mouthpiece is provided herein. The vaporizer cartridge with improved mouthpiece notably, includes a mouthpiece shaped to form a snap fit around a central post, where the mouthpiece is made of a single piece of material. The vaporizer cartridge with an improved mouthpiece is useful for improving manufacturing efficiency and increasing consumer safety.

1 . A vaporizer cartridge, comprising:
 a central member comprising a central post and a reservoir,
 wherein the central post has a top end with a first opening, a bottom end with a second opening, an exterior surface, and an interior surface,
 wherein the first opening, interior surface, and second opening are in fluid communication; 
 
   a mouthpiece having an inlet, an outlet, a fluid passthrough extending from the inlet to the outlet, the fluid passthrough removably equipped with an inner seal
 wherein the fluid passthrough is in fluid communication with the first opening, the second opening, and the interior surface, 
 wherein the mouthpiece is made from a single piece of material, 
 and wherein the mouthpiece and the central post are shaped such that the mouthpiece forms a snap fit around the central post. 
   
     
     
         2 . The vaporizer cartridge according to  claim 1 , wherein the mouthpiece does not comprise an adhesive. 
     
     
         3 . The vaporizer cartridge according to  claim 2 , further comprising an outer seal which abuts the reservoir and the mouthpiece. 
     
     
         4 . The vaporizer cartridge according to  claim 3 , wherein the material is ceramic. 
     
     
         5 . The vaporizer cartridge according to  claim 3 , wherein the material is wood. 
     
     
         6 . The vaporizer cartridge according to  claim 3 , wherein the material is metal. 
     
     
         7 . The vaporizer cartridge according to  claim 3 , wherein the central post comprises a heating element connected to the reservoir and in communication with an interior of the reservoir. 
     
     
         8 . The vaporizer cartridge according to  claim 7 , wherein the heating element comprises a fluid impermeable barrier configured to prevent the passage of fluid between the interior surface of the central post and the interior of the reservoir. 
     
     
         9 . The vaporizer cartridge according to  claim 1 , wherein the central member further comprises a threaded section proximate to the bottom end. 
     
     
         10 . The vaporizer cartridge according to  claim 3 , wherein the outer seal is configured to prevent communication of gas or fluid between any of the reservoir, the mouthpiece, and an ambient environment. 
     
     
         11 . The vaporizer cartridge according to  claim 1 , wherein the inner seal is configured to seal a space between the fluid passthrough and the exterior surface. 
     
     
         12 . The vaporizer cartridge according to  claim 1 , wherein the inner seal is a silicone seal. 
     
     
         13 . The vaporizer cartridge according to  claim 3 , wherein the outer seal is a silicone seal. 
     
     
         14 . The vaporizer cartridge according to  claim 1 , wherein the mouthpiece further comprises a recessed portion located proximately to the inlet.
