Abstract

The present invention relates to an article for use as part of a non-combustible aerosol provision system, the article comprising: a housing; an aerosol generating component; and an aerosol generating material transfer component, the aerosol generating component and the aerosol generating material transfer component being housed within the housing, wherein the aerosol generating component is urged against the aerosol generating material transfer component.

An article for use as part of a non-combustible aerosol provision system, the article comprising: a housing; an aerosol generating component; and an aerosol generating material transfer component, the aerosol generating component and the aerosol generating material transfer component being housed within the housing, wherein the aerosol generating component is urged against the aerosol generating material transfer component. 
     
     
         2 . The article of  claim 1 , wherein the aerosol generating component is securely attached to the housing or a component therein. 
     
     
         3 . The article of  claim 1 , wherein the aerosol generating component comprises one or more electrical connectors securely attached to one or more corresponding electrical contacts in the housing. 
     
     
         4 . The article of  claim 1 , wherein the aerosol generating material transfer component is spatially constrained by the housing or a component therein. 
     
     
         5 . The article of  claim 1 , wherein the aerosol generating material transfer component is not securely attached to the housing or a component therein. 
     
     
         6 . The article of  1 , wherein the aerosol generating component is substantially planar. 
     
     
         7 . The article of  claim 1 , wherein the aerosol generating component is curved. 
     
     
         8 . The article of  claim 7 , wherein the aerosol generating component is curved around an axis of the aerosol generating component. 
     
     
         9 . The article of  claim 7 , wherein the aerosol generating material transfer component is curved around the axis of the aerosol generating component. 
     
     
         10 . The article of  claim 1 , comprising an aerosol forming chamber. 
     
     
         11 . The article of  claim 10 , wherein the aerosol generating component is at least partly located in the aerosol forming chamber. 
     
     
         12 . The article of  claim 1 , wherein the aerosol generating component comprises one or more elongate apertures. 
     
     
         13 . The article of  claim 1 , wherein the aerosol generating component is formed of an electrically conductive material. 
     
     
         14 . The article of  claim 1 , wherein the aerosol generating component is formed of a porous material. 
     
     
         15 . The article of  claim 1 , wherein the aerosol generating component is formed of a single layer. 
     
     
         16 . The article of  claim 1 , wherein the housing defines at least one airflow channel. 
     
     
         17 . A non-combustible aerosol provision system comprising: an article of  claim 1 ; and a device comprising one or more of a power source and a controller.
