Abstract
A closure assembly ( 1 ) for a package with a thin-walled flexible bag comprising a spout unit ( 2 ) that comprises at least one spout cam portion ( 25 ); and a closure ( 3 ) applicable to the spout unit ( 2 ) comprising a cap ( 30 ) that extends along a cap axis (Y-Y) and comprises a cap wall ( 31 ) comprising a lower edge ( 33 ) in which at least one cap cam portion ( 35 ) is obtained. The at least one cap cam portion ( 35 ) is at least partly complementary to the at least one spout cam portion ( 25 ). In a disengagement configuration, by rotating the cap ( 30 ) with respect to the spout ( 10 ) about the cap axis (Y-Y), the interaction between the at least one cap cam portion ( 35 ) and the at least one spout cam portion ( 25 ) causes the cap ( 3 ) to lift axially with respect to the spout ( 10 ).

18 . A closure assembly for a package with a flexible thin-walled bag for containing fruit juices and puree, yogurt, and energy drinks, comprising:
a spout unit extending along a spout axis, comprising a connection portion suitable for being hermetically applied to the flexible thin-walled bag, a spout and at least one spout cam portion; and a closure applicable to the spout unit, comprising a cap engageable with the spout and extending along a cap axis, wherein the cap comprises a cap wall comprising a lower edge in which at least one cap cam portion is formed; wherein the at least one cap cam portion is at least partially complementary to the at least one spout cam portion; wherein, in a disengagement configuration, by rotating the cap about the cap axis with respect to the spout, an interaction between the at least one cap cam portion and the at least one spout cam portion causes an axial lifting of the cap with respect to the spout; wherein the spout unit is made of plastics material in a single piece by injection molding and comprises an upper plate orthogonal to the spout axis, and wherein the at least one spout cam portion extends from said upper plate.
19 . The closure assembly of claim 18 , wherein the at least one spout cam portion comprises an upper cam surface inclined with respect to the spout axis, the upper cam surface being arch-shaped with a raised center so as to define two opposite slopes.
20 . The closure assembly of claim 18 , wherein the spout unit comprises two spout cam portions arranged symmetrically to the spout axis.
21 . The closure assembly of claim 18 , wherein the spout unit comprises a spout locking element.
22 . The closure assembly of claim 21 , wherein the spout locking element comprises a stem extending from the upper plate, and a tooth positioned at an axial end of the stem that is distal from the upper plate, and wherein said tooth protrudes radially from the stem defining a housing with the stem.
23 . The closure assembly of claim 21 , wherein the spout unit comprises two spout locking elements arranged symmetrically to the spout axis.
24 . The closure assembly of claim 18 , wherein the at least one cap cam portion defines a lower cam surface inclined with respect to the cap axis, the lower cam surface being arch-shaped with a raised center so as to define two opposite slopes.
25 . The closure assembly of claim 18 , wherein two diametrically opposite cap cam portions are formed in the lower edge.
26 . The closure assembly of claim 18 , wherein the closure comprises an engagement element.
27 . The closure assembly of claim 26 , wherein the engagement element is arranged close to the lower edge.
28 . The closure assembly of claim 26 , wherein the spout unit comprises a spout locking element, and wherein the engagement element, in a closing configuration, is suitable for engaging the spout locking element so that the spout unit and the closure are integrally engaged with each other.

The closure assembly of claim 28 , wherein the spout locking element comprises a stem extending from the upper plate, and a tooth positioned at an axial end of the stem that is distal from the upper plate, wherein said tooth protrudes radially from the stem defining a housing with the stem, and wherein the engagement element comprises an engagement ramp close to the cap wall, suitable for being housed in the housing.
30 . The closure assembly of claim 26 , wherein the closure comprises two diametrically opposite engagement elements.
31 . The closure assembly of claim 18 , wherein the closure further comprises a handle comprising two wing portions extending from the cap wall, substantially on an imaginary plane containing the cap axis, in two opposite directions.
32 . The closure assembly of claim 31 , wherein said two wing portions comprise a panel portion and a reinforcement rib integral with said panel portion.
33 . The closure assembly of claim 18 , wherein the closure further comprises a handle comprising a gripping blade and a peripheral edge that is enlarged with respect to said gripping blade.
34 . The closure assembly of claim 18 , wherein the closure further comprises an over-cap comprising an annular grip radially spaced apart outside the cap wall.
35 . A package comprising:
