Abstract
Devices and systems to control, limit or stop vapor flow through a portable vapor source. A vapor barrier valve is a blocking member affixed to or formed as part of a vapor source and having flexible walls are at rest or sealed unless displaced by sufficient predetermined force to unseal or unblock a block the valve. Said vapor barrier is attached to a cartridge or device configured to produce inhalable vapor. The disclosed inventions are such that most children under a predetermined chronological age cannot apply sufficient force to open or unseal the vapor barrier nor sufficient force to unseal or open a squeeze valve barrier.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A device to selective block vapor flow from a portable source of vapor comprising:
a vapor barrier having a body, open top, open bottom end, flexible side walls, front wall and back walls forming a fluid pathway; and, a deformable valve within the fluid pathway; and, wherein said deformable valve when at rest is in a first at sealed state is configured to block the fluid pathway.
2 . The device to selective block vapor flow from a portable source of vapor of claim 1 ,
wherein applying a predetermined squeeze force to the deformable valve, said valve is in a second unsealed state configured to temporarily unblock at least a portion of the fluid pathway.
3 . The device to selective block vapor flow from a portable source of vapor of claim 2 , further comprising:
a first and second interface connects the vapor barrier to the portable vapor source device; wherein the fluid pathway way of the vapor barrier is, when the valve is unsealed, in fluid communication with a vapor pathway from the portable vapor source.
4 . The device to selective block vapor flow from a portable source of vapor of claim 3 , further comprising the portable vapor source contains vapor-fluid.
5 . The device to selective block vapor flow from a portable source of vapor of claim 4 further comprising a means to heat the vapor-fluid to produce vapor.
6 . The device to selective block vapor flow from a portable source of vapor of claim 5 , wherein the portable vapor source is one of a disposable vaporizer system and a cartridge.
7 . The device to selective block vapor flow from a portable source of vapor of claim 6 , wherein the vapor-fluid contains at least nicotine.
8 . The device to selective block vapor flow from a portable source of vapor of claim 1 wherein using the testing criteria set forth in Title 16 of the Code of Federal Rules (CFR) 1700.15 at least ninety percent of children cannot apply the predetermined squeeze force.
9 . The device to selective block vapor flow from a portable source of vapor of claim 1 wherein using the testing criteria set forth in Title 16 of the Code of Federal Rules (CFR) 1700.15 at least ninety-five percent of children cannot apply the predetermined squeeze force.
10 . The device to selective block vapor flow from a portable source of vapor of claim 1 wherein using the testing criteria set forth in Title 16 of the Code of Federal Rules (CFR) 1700.15 at least eighty-five percent of children cannot apply the predetermined squeeze force.
11 . The device to selective block vapor flow from a portable source of vapor of claim 1 wherein using the testing criteria set forth in Title 16 of the Code of Federal Rules (CFR) 1700.15 at least eighty percent of children cannot apply the predetermined squeeze force.Cited by (0)
