Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a modular strap-based exercise apparatus, kit, and method of use thereof, and more particularly to an apparatus, kit, and method for modularly connecting components of a strap-based exercise device. In an embodiment, the strap-based exercise apparatus includes one or more infinity loops configured to attach various portions of the exercise apparatus together. The exercise apparatus may be provided as a kit including an elongated member, a grip assembly, and one or more mechanisms for adjusting the length of a strap and connecting straps together.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . An exercise device comprising:
a pair of handgrip assemblies for jointly using as an exercise device, each handgrip assembly for attaching at a separate point using its own separate anchor for permitting a user to perform exercises such as pull ups, and dips, each handgrip assembly comprising: a grip comprising a tubular hand grip connected to a strap, wherein the strap is connected to a first loop and a second loop and wherein the first loop is connected to one of a buckle or a hook, and wherein the second loop is connected to one of a carabineer, a buckle, or a hook, and the grip being made so the tubular hand grip for supporting the weight of the user through the strap while the exercise device is in use.

2 . The exercise device of claim 1 , wherein each of the separate anchors can be merged into a single anchor for use by the exercise device with a pair of handgrip assemblies.

3 . The exercise device of claim 1 , wherein the strap is permanently connected to the first loop and the second loop via a stitch.

4 . The exercise device of claim 1 , wherein the strap is slidably connected to the first loop and the second loop via a third loop.

5 . An exercise device comprising:
a supporting member made of strap with a component loop on a a pair of handgrip assemblies for jointly using as an exercise device, each handgrip assembly for attaching at a separate point using its own separate anchor for permitting a user to perform exercises such as pull ups, and dips, each handgrip assembly comprising: a combination grip comprising a tubular hand grip connected to a connecting member including a strap, wherein the connecting member is connected to a first loop and a second loop and wherein the first loop is connected to one of a buckle or a hook, and wherein the second loop is connected to one of a carabineer, a buckle, or a hook, and the combination grip being made so the tubular hand grip for supporting the weight of the user through the strap while the exercise device is in use.

6 . The exercise device of claim 5 , wherein each of the separate anchors can be merged into a single anchor for use by the exercise device with a pair of handgrip assemblies.

7 . The exercise device of claim 5 , wherein the strap is permanently connected to the first loop and the second loop via a stitch.

8 . The exercise device of claim 5 , wherein the strap is slidably connected to the first loop and the second loop via a third loop.

         9 . A linear exercise device, comprising:
a linear body having two opposing ends where one end at the top while exercise for connecting to a fixed anchor and a bottom end in opposition to the one end on the linear body for apprehension by a user while exercising for supporting the weight of said user from the bottom end through the linear body and up to the anchor, the linear body comprising: a anchor securing loop at the one end made of a strap folded over the anchor with one of a buckle, carabineer or a hook connected back to the strap between the one end and an upper linear body portion, the upper body portion located from the top end of the linear body and a lower body portion including at least one of a connecting loop along the linear body below the closed anchor securing loop at the one end; the lower body portion including at least a buckle, carabineer or a hook for connecting the lower body portion to the upper body portion at the connecting loop, the lower body portion lower on the linear body, and a grip comprising a tubular hand grip connected to a strap connected to the lower body portion at the bottom end so the tubular hand grip for supporting the weight of the user through the linear body while the exercise device is in use.

10 . The linear exercise device of claim 9 , wherein the exercise device includes two linear body portions, each for one hand of a user.

11 . The linear exercise device of claim 9 , wherein the linear body is made mostly of a flat strap.

12 . The linear exercise device of claim 9 , wherein the bottom end includes a foot loop.
