Abstract
An alignment device for putting includes two housings; and two telescopic rods configured to extend between the housings at either lateral side thereof, the housings movable between an upright operating position and a folded storage position, the two housings and two telescopic rods defining a putting area bordered by the rods and the housings. Each housing includes at least one gate comprising a pair of gate elements thereof configured to form an opening therebetween.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . An alignment member comprising a ring having a first rod opening spaced 180 degrees apart a second rod opening, the first rod opening substantially sized to a rod, and the second rod opening allowing a predetermined angular movement of the rod in the second opening.
2 . The alignment member of claim 1 , wherein the predetermined angular movement is about 10%.
3 . An alignment device for putting, comprising:
two housings; and two telescopic rods configured to extend between the housings at either lateral side thereof, the housings movable between an upright operating position and a folded storage position, the two housings and two telescopic rods defining a putting area bordered by the rods and the housings; wherein each housing comprises at least one gate comprising a pair of gate elements thereof configured to form an opening therebetween.
4 . The alignment device of claim 3 , wherein the gate elements comprise gates rockably suspended in openings of the housing.
5 . The alignment device of claim 3 , wherein the gate elements comprise lasers having beams extending downward from the housing to define a laser edged gate therebetween.
6 . An alignment device for putting, comprising:
two housings; and two rods configured to extend between the housings at either lateral side thereof, the housings movable between an upright operating position and a folded storage position, the two housings and two rods defining a putting area bordered by the rods and the housings; and a pair of guides, a guide configured to fit on each of the two rods, the guides having adjustable guide rails configured to form a straight putting path, an arced putting path, or a hybrid putting path.
7 . The alignment device of claim 6 , wherein the housings further comprise:
at least one string slot extending substantially vertically within the housing; and a first eye alignment string configured to slot into the at least one string slot of each housing and to stretch therebetween.
8 . The alignment device of claim 7 , and further comprising a second eye alignment string configured to slot into the at least one string slot of each housing at a different height that the first eye alignment string.
9 . The alignment device of claim 8 , wherein the first eye alignment string and the second eye alignment string are differently colored.
10 . The alignment device of claim 6 , wherein the at adjustable guide rail comprises:
a main body having a plurality of slots spaced along a length thereof; and a flexible guide rail having a plurality of tabs spaced along a length thereof, the tabs aligning with the plurality of slots of the main body, each tab having a threaded opening therein; and a plurality of threaded knobs configured to couple the flexible guide rail to the main body through a slot thereof positioned between the threaded opening and the threaded knob to adjustably connect the main body and the flexible guide rail at the slots and tabs.
11 . The alignment device of claim 6 , wherein the rods are telescoping rods extendable to a number of different operating positions.
12 . The alignment device of claim 6 , wherein each housing comprises at least one gate comprising a pair of gate elements thereof configured to form an opening therebetween.
13 . The alignment device of claim 12 , wherein the gate elements comprise gates rockably suspended in openings of the housing.
14 . The alignment device of claim 12 , wherein the gate elements comprise lasers having beams extending downward from the housing to define a laser edged gate therebetween.
15 . An alignment device for putting, comprising:
a housing; and at least one telescopic rod configured to extend from the housing at a lateral side thereof, the housing movable between an upright operating position and a folded storage position, the housing and the at least one telescopic rod defining a putting area bordered by the rod and the housing; wherein the housing comprises at least one gate comprising a pair of gate elements suspended downward from the housing and configured to form an opening therebetween.
16 . The alignment device of claim 15 , wherein the at least one telescopic rod comprises two telescopic rods, a rod extending from the housing at each lateral side thereof.
17 . The alignment device of claim 15 , and further comprising at least one guide configured to removably and movably attach to a telescopic rod of the two telescopic rods, the guide having an adjustable guide rail configured to form a plurality of putting paths of different shapes.
18 . The alignment device of claim 17 , wherein the at adjustable guide rail comprises:
a main body having a plurality of slots spaced along a length thereof; and a flexible guide rail having a plurality of tabs spaced along a length thereof, the tabs aligning with the plurality of slots of the main body, each tab having a threaded opening therein; and a plurality of threaded knobs configured to couple the flexible guide rail to the main body through a slot thereof positioned between the threaded opening and the threaded knob to adjustably connect the main body and the flexible guide rail at the slots and tabs.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
