Power End Housing for Plunger Pump and Plunger Pump Including Power End Housing
Abstract
The present disclosure provides a power end housing for a plunger pump and a plunger pump including the power end housing. The power end housing includes: an integrated crankcase, where the crankcase includes a plurality of bearing seats and supported by support vertical plates, the support vertical plates are spaced apart in an axial direction of the bearing seats, and the crankcase includes a first reinforcing rib between every two support vertical plates, wherein an angle between a direction of a maximum resultant force on the bearing seats and an axial direction of a plunger of the plunger pump is βmax, an angle between the first reinforcing rib and the axial direction of the plunger is a first angle, and the first angle is greater than or equal to 0.8 βmax and less than or equal to 1.2 βmax.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A crankcase of a plunger pump, comprising:
an integrated body;
a front surface of the integrated body for coupling the crankcase to a crosshead case of the plunger pump, the front surface comprising at least:
a first set of threaded holes for connecting a set of bolts, wherein the set of bolts, when connected to the first set of threaded holes, are configured to laterally prefix the crosshead case against the crankcase via a set of through holes; and
a second set of threaded holes disposed outside of the first set of threaded holes for bolting the crosshead case against the crankcase.
2 . The crankcase of claim 1 , wherein the first set of threaded holes are disposed on the front surface of the crankcase as two rows of first threaded holes.
3 . The crankcase of claim 2 , wherein non-end threaded holes of the two rows of the first set of threaded holes are larger in diameter than the end threaded holes of the two rows of the first set of threaded holes.
4 . The crankcase of claim 2 , wherein the second set of threaded holes are disposed on the front surface of the crankcase as additional two rows of second threaded holes corresponding to the two rows of first threaded holes.
5 . The crankcase of claim 4 , further comprising a sealing grove on the front surface.
6 . The crankcase of claim 5 , wherein the sealing grove is disposed inside the first set of threaded holes and the second set of threaded holes on the front surface.
7 . The crankcase of claim 6 , wherein the sealing grove meanders around each of the first set of threaded holes that are not end threaded holes of the two rows.
8 . The crankcase of claim 7 , wherein the sealing grove passes, from inner side, by each of the second set of threaded holes and threaded holes at ends of the two rows of the first set of threaded holes.
9 . The crankcase of claim 5 , wherein the sealing grove is configured to accommodate a dealing ring or a sealing gel.
10 . The crankcase of claim 4 , wherein non-end threaded holes of the first set of threaded holes and non-end threaded holes of the second set of the threaded holes forms a one-to-one correspondence.
11 . The crankcase of claim 4 , wherein non-end threaded holes of the first set of threaded holes and non-end threaded holes of the second set of the threaded holes forms a one-to-two correspondence.
12 . The crankcase of claim 11 , wherein each of the non-end threaded holes of the first set of threaded holes and two corresponding threaded holes of the second set of threaded holes forms an isosceles triangle or an equilateral triangle.
13 . The crankcase of claim 4 , wherein the front surface further comprises one or more lubrication oil holes leading to one or more bearing seats of the crankcase via one or more oil passages.
14 . The crankcase of claim 13 , wherein each of the one or more lubrication oil holes are surrounded by a separate sealing grove.
15 . The crankcase of claim 14 , wherein the separate sealing grove is configured to accommodate a sealing ring or sealing gel.
16 . The crankcase of claim 1 , wherein the integrated body comprises a plurality of supporting plates vertically disposed relative to the front surface, and wherein the each of the first set of threaded holes are formed at least partially in one of the plurality of supporting plates.
17 . The crankcase of claim 1 , wherein the front surface further comprises a plurality of openings for passing connecting rod of crank shafts and wherein the plurality of openings are disposed interleaved between the first set of threaded holes.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
