Pool table, table felt thereof, and method for mounting the table felt
Abstract
A method for mounting a table felt of a pool table is provided. A computer numerical control (CNC) glue coating layer is set around a bottom surface of the table felt. A straight notch and a first oblique notch are formed at a position on the table felt corresponding to a side pocket opening. A second oblique notch is formed at a position on the table felt corresponding to a corner pocket opening. A first protective film is teared off. A first adhesive surface is bonded to edges of side and bottom surfaces of the slate. The table felt is laid on the slate with the CNC glue coating layer facing toward the slate. A second protective film is teared off. The table felt is stretched. The CNC glue coating layer is bonded to a second adhesive surface. A pool table and a table felt thereof are also provided.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method for mounting a table felt of a pool table, the pool table comprising a slate, the table felt and a first double-sided tape configured to attach the table felt to the slate; the first double-sided tape comprising a first adhesive surface coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive, a second adhesive surface coated with a structural adhesive, a first protective film covering the first adhesive surface and a second protective film covering the second adhesive surface; the slate being provided with a first arc-shaped notch for forming a side pocket opening and a second arc-shaped notch for forming a corner pocket opening; the table felt having a bottom surface configured to be attached to a top surface of the slate, a first computer numerical control (CNC) glue coating layer configured to be attached to a side surface and a bottom surface of the slate, and a second CNC glue coating layer configured to be attached to a second double-sided tape for reinforcement; and the method comprising:
(1) setting the first CNC glue coating layer around the bottom surface of the table felt; forming a straight notch and a first oblique notch at a position on the table felt where the side pocket opening is located, wherein the straight notch is configured for alignment; and forming a second oblique notch at a position on the table felt where the corner pocket opening is located; (2) tearing off the first protective film of the first double-sided tape, and bonding the first adhesive surface of the first double-sided tape to edges of the side surface and the bottom surface of the slate; (3) laying the table felt on the slate with the first CNC glue coating layer facing toward the slate; (4) tearing off the second protective film of the first double-sided tape; and (5) stretching the table felt, and bonding the first CNC glue coating layer to the second adhesive surface of the first double-sided tape.
2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
before step ( 5 ), arranging four longitudinal detection lines on a top surface of the table felt along a length direction of the table felt, and arranging two transverse detection lines on the top surface of the table felt along a width direction of the table felt; wherein in step ( 5 ), the table felt is stretched such that the four longitudinal detection lines are respectively coincident with first edges of the slate, and the two transverse detection lines are respectively coincident with second edges of the slate, wherein the first edges of the slate are longer than the second edges of the slate.
3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the four longitudinal detection lines and the two transverse detection lines are each formed by means of a CNC line drawing machine.
4 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising:
(6) tearing off a protective film of the second double-sided tape; and bonding an adhesive surface of the second double-sided tape to positions of the second CNC glue coating layer where the side pocket opening and the corner pocket opening are located and the bottom surface of the slate, such that the top surface of the table felt is bonded to the bottom surface of the slate at the first arc-shaped notch and the second arc-shaped notch.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first CNC glue coating layer and the second CNC glue coating layer are each formed by automatic spraying using a CNC glue coating machine.
6 . A pool table adopting the method of claim 1 , comprising:
the slate; the table felt; and the first double-sided tape; wherein the table felt is laid on the slate; the first CNC glue coating layer is arranged around the bottom surface of the table felt fitted onto the slate; and the straight notch and the first oblique notch are provided at the position on the table felt where the side pocket opening is located; and the first double-sided tape comprises the first adhesive surface and the second adhesive surface; the first adhesive surface is bonded to the edges of the side surface and the bottom surface of the slate; and the second adhesive surface is adhesively connected to the first CNC glue coating layer for mounting the table felt to the slate.
7 . The pool table of claim 6 , wherein the slate is provided with the first arc-shaped notch for forming the side pocket opening and the second arc-shaped notch for forming the corner pocket opening; and areas on a top surface of the table felt around the first arc-shaped notch and the second arc-shaped notch are each provided with the second CNC glue coating layer; and
the second CNC glue coating layer is adhesively connected to the bottom surface of the slate via the second double-sided tape.
8 . A table felt of a pool table, comprising:
a bottom surface; and a top surface; wherein a first CNC glue coating layer is provided around the bottom surface; portions of the top surface corresponding to six pocket openings are each provided with a second CNC glue coating layer; a marking cut is provided at each of both ends of a longitudinal center line of the table felt; a straight notch and a first oblique notch are provided at each of both ends of a transverse center line of the table felt; and a second oblique notch is provided at each of four corners of the table felt.
9 . The table felt of claim 8 , wherein the top surface is provided with four longitudinal detection lines extending along a length direction of the table felt and parallel to a first edge of a slate, and is provided with two transverse detection lines extending a width direction of the table felt and parallel to a second edge of the slate; and the first edge of the slate is longer than the second edge of the slate.
10 . The table felt of claim 9 , wherein the four longitudinal detection lines and the two transverse detection lines are each formed by a straight line, a plurality of marking points or a plurality of line segments.
11 . The table felt of claim 8 , wherein the four longitudinal detection lines and the two transverse detection lines are different from the table felt in color.
